Starling and Herl - Fly Tying Step by Step

A quick and easy wee wet fly to swing around when the time is right. When swung it can be a great emerger pattern but can also be used in still water as a snail or as drowned beetle along a rivers edge. A versatile pattern that is simple to tie and great to have on the water.

Very nice. By sheer chance I bought a starling skin to day and have started tying spiders. I'm very experienced with tying spiders using all kinds of hackle, but had not used starling before. It has such a huge range of feathers. They are working beautifully.. Thanks for thw clip and advice. :-)=
