It's so interesting looking at the differences between Tessa/Scott and the other skaters. Like off the bat in the beginning, 0:25 the other men immediately just lock eyes with their partners the second they see them and turns their seats to follow them, while Tessa is really the one taking the lead at first, surprising Scott and making him turn as his eyes travel at her from her legs up her body to finally her face. They both know EXACTLY what they're doing and are such brilliant performers!

EthalaRide that's true! I noticed Scott's looking at Tessa from her legs to her face, but I didn't notice that he was the only one doing this. Btw, it looks like Scott really appreciates what he sees 😍

You’ve hit the nail on the head. They are consummate performers - they know how to act and they do it soooo very well.....👌

Well, I mean, I think they do have a special relationship and wouldn't say it's *all* acting. I'm just saying they know how to, they're not just athletes with technical expertise. They know how to make the movements flow and make sense in a narrative like the most engaging and skilled dancers do. I don't think it's all an act but I do think most people get caught up in the romantic aesthetic of their job.

EthalaRide I agree.....but I still do think that a very large part of their performances is acting. And they do it sooooo well👌. And yes, many (most?) people do get totally caught up in wanting this partnership to be much more intimate than it probably is.

every time i see this number i notice some kind of specific Tessa/Scott moment. this time it's 3:29 when he sticks his fingers out to get her pinky for their quirky hand-hold. So cute. I've never seen them do that DURING a performance before.
