@@yourbabushka3750 after he does a double slam on the ground, get behind him and hold forward the joystick while following him. I think this will cause the loop but I’m not sure, I just managed to do this out of the blue😅

One of the ways I found best was I used the shobiri thing that makes him aggro you and summons as well as gear for hp instead of damage I didn't even use my preferred weapon I ended up using claymore buffed it to +12 and then got lucky with the summons the combined damage allowed for key damage I ended up winning but this fight is a lot about luck

they fixed it already, there's 2 patch recently, and i haven't heard about someone else pulling this off anymore

The rotten breath trick still works but the the openings are very limited since this fcker has infinite stamina. If u mess up the timing u'd get instakilled.

Just said the same thing to my friend a few hours ago. Fk this boss man, next playthrough i'm going to chees him cuz the fight is beyond horible.

I managed to beat him using a great bow. Just kept re summoning the phantoms for a distraction and sniped him from a distance

I also accidentally did this in this video thank god consoles have the built in recording

Yo he's actually insanely weak to magic, I can get rid of about 1/5th of his hp per attack with my stream spell, you just need to have RNG and enough summons

everyone gets oneshotted by this boss

i mean you can get close on foot just by rolling into the arrow. works like a clock

If you time it right you can jump off your horse and dodge it just as the arrows comes

Yeah i know the method unfortunately I don't have the stats for it. It will take forever to farm up the levels needed for that and a staff.

Thank you so so so much been hitting my head against this guy for ages. Rot breath and killed first try. Even without the dot ticking a full cast nearly half health him anyway.

@@dovahkiin7253 it did eventually work for me but the fcker wouldn't stay put and I'd get hit ever so often. I think it's safe to say that this is the most horrible boss design fromsoft has created so far.

Yes we know but not everyone has an arc/faith character, i am a strenght based greatsword fighter for example.

@@Carlovfx The requirements for faith and arc are relatively low (15 and 12). Honestly, having fought him it'd be easier to grind out the runes to meet the requirements than try to beat him with straight up melee. B4 I used rotten breath the best I could do was roughly half health. I'm running a strength/ faith build.

He’s in the Caelid area to the east of Limgrave, it’s full of red and rotting enemies

So every site of grace on the map points to story point location/boss

hey man, if you want to follow the “intended” order you should head to the academy. the academy is located in the middle of the lake above the stormhill castle i believe(up west in the map). to get inside the academy you will need to pass through a blue gate, and to do that you will need a key. Now if you want to find the key your self there will be a shiny by the blue gate giving you a tip, but in case you dont want to go through the trouble of using the tips, i can tell you. so from now on i will tell you where they key is, so dont read if you dont want spoilers. LOCATION FOR THE KEY( POSSIBLE SPOILER ) The key is located west of the castle, you will see there are 2 islands in the lake which you cant get to using your horse, the key is in the first island, so not the furthest west one, there will be a dragon guarding the key, which you DONT have to kill, since he is pretty strong but if you want to kill him, i find it pretty fun to do so. now behind the dragon there will be the key. so you teleport back to the grace at the academy main gate and now you have a option to examine the gate and pass through it. and thats basically it. now after exploring the whole area and killing the 2 bosses there are there, id reccomend going to this boss which is at redmane castle(bottom east of the map in the red zone. also remember to go to the divine tower to active your great rune, since that can help in boss fights if you have rune arcs. hope this helps. If you need any other tips or advice you can respond here or ask in the elden ring reddit. since the game is pretty new there arent many guides on youtube yet.

I think I was around level 50 making this with the Radagon’s Scarseal and Crimson Amber Medallion, and the rune power from Godrick activated which all boosts my HP a ton

@@Jalun if you use the consumable Rune Arc item (you get them from killing a host as an invader or buying from the shop in the round table area)

If he hit you with the shooting star when he jumps up, its going to OHK you no matter how much health you have

@@GhostBLKk I already killed it. Once I realized I could spawn the guys again when phase 2 started it was easy. Working on the twin gargoyles atm, the targeting switching automatically is driving me insane. Going to see if I can turn that off.
