In 1973 many of us took a van from Port Alberni to Naniamo to see Elvin Bishop concert. The plane was late, show cancelled, we went to drown our sorrows at a nightclub,in comes the Elvin Bishop Band,we had our own show and even got a refund. My cousin travelled from White Rock to a Whinnery in Seattle, Washington last Aug 29th to see Elvin Bishop Band.❤ 🇨🇦

The phrasing we became accustomed to in Elvin Bishop's original was developed over Elvin's many years of hard work in both hard and wonderful places. His influence as part of the Butterfield Blues Band remains at the core of my whole life's enjoyment of some really great music. For me, Elvin Bishop just nailed this song right outta the park.
