In regard to the large influx of questions, maybe you could record some dev work and play it back on stream while answering questions? That way people could watch the dev process while getting questions answered at the same time?

So I downloaded and played a good 5 or so hours today and oh wow is this cool , even in its current state it's a ton of fun for around 10 people was my experience just jumping into a couple random lobbies , will be back on tomorrow and sticking around to watch this grow , so excited bro you've made something awesome

That’s not microtransactions. That’s paid DLC. Although the game would have to get pretty big to get a huge IP like that. It’s possible though. Just look at Power Wash Simulator.

1:42:58 so if you where using the smaller vessels and there was say 3 in a fleet and one went down and used the life boats one of the other ships could come and pick them up to reinforce both ships or w/e maybe they just all stay on the ship that rescues them and now they need to supply more food and whatnot for the survivors , that could be interesting gameplay , rescue missions of stranded shuttles and downed crews is a pretty trek thing

Yes, all 3 ships should be fully represented in the world, so you can transfer between them via shuttles as desired. We haven't finalised the mechanics of how life boats are going to work yet, but in the case where you have more than one ship, there's nothing stopping you landing a life boat in another ship's hanger and getting out.

I hope there is teleport for those who need it, but make it optional so that those who don't need it can also enjoy the game in their preferred manner.

Quick question....how do you zoom in and out of the current view?

You can right click the mouse to zoom. You can also hold E to center on a console.

Teleport in vr is an absolute must for me… I get extreme motion sickness otherwise. So I hope you indeed always have teleport as an option.

Very cool to be able to walk around in a spaceship, but I'm concerned about the actual size of stars, planets and moons. Is it anywhere near 100% accurate in scale?

Well u jump from to place a lot so in feel, you will take in game light years to get to and from A-B-C-D

The size of planetary and stellar bodies will be accurate for known bodies, and will follow known physics for the procedurally generated ones

@@Abrogator91 That sounds great. When I approach a planet (ie, Earth) it should LOOK realistic in size. The other space games out there (Star Citizen, Elite Dangerous) don't do this correctly. From space you should not see details of planet's surface, only see them when you are very close to the surface, and at that point you should see the horizon. I hope people understand what I'm trying to say here :)

With the shipyard will it be possible to recreate existing syfy ships? Like say the millennium falcon ? Or at least a copyright safe equivalent?
