Didn't manage to catch you live, but I watched the full video. It was really cool watching you work. Definitely going to be keeping an eye on this one, maybe even pledge if there's still time. For those round staircases with the tree, you should do a window on top like how you did the bridge. Except maybe make the center glass as well. That way you'd have a big round window, with a ring of light, and then those wedges along the outside.

HOLY SHIT you did this is SketchUp you absolute madman! 😂 That explains some of the design decisions… I’d personally recommend Rhino instead but power to you for using that rather limited program.

I'm excited to be repairing and maintaining the ship! Will cables be available at some point to connect as tempory power/support services to a section if the power goes down there? I hav'nt seen any sort of air and heat/cooling ducting, water and waste ducting? Will these be included?

Just a suggestion, make the area around the stairwell (where the crew quarters that you deleted were) a kind of crew lounge or something similar.

I had an idea for an adventure. You said there will be naturally occurring wormholes, one way wormholes and two way wormholes. What if one end of a wormhole happened to be orbiting Sagittarius A at the center of the galaxy, the other end happened to pass by the Solar System 66 million years ago, time dialation caused the end near the black hole to be in the present. Dinosaur planet.

Why not write code to take parameters from a database to build the graphical ship? Then you can make the ship a parametric model, saved to a file you can import into your rendering engine. I can't understand why you would use a graphics program. Was that YOUR choice?
