We have nothing to our name, we need a house to stay in otherwise we're sleeping rough. I have activated all the realistic mods I can find but more importantly set challenging and realistic rules to maximise the challenge and create a slightly new style of farming simulator series

If I use farmer’s equipment for contracts I add the lease money back to my account because they are supplying the equipment and I also add money back for fertilizer and stuff too. This seems like it’s gonna be a great series. I hope it continues for a long time.

Hi. I really love that you make a series like this with realism and financial challenges. Only thing I wonder and would do a little bit different. I would have preferred do have a tiny bit of cash, not much at all. Just like for food, taxi just for a start, so you could get started. I mean you can't survive without money at all, if only a tent to sleep in. Realistically you have planned how to get where you are and that have cost some money already. Basically you know that you need a place to sleep(even a tent) and that is costs money. You don't travel anywhere without money. So if you had like 50 as a start

Yeah I have given a lot of comments 🙈 just been very inspiring for me as well and got very into the series and gave ideas as well as thoughts what I think could be done differently. But I think you did really great. I'm working my own series for myself. The path my dream of coffee production. I'm actually just a theoretical and practical exam away to be a master coffee Barista in real life. My hobby, been working with as well as dreaming about owning and working in my own Barista bar, with my own roastery and farm🌺☕ Working on my own with a bar I think I could manage alone, but I think with farm and roastery would be a little bit too much 🙈

I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. I've not come across your channel prior to this episode. One thing though, too much time was spent on pointless counting of houses. Maybe look for something in future lets plays like a sign or a placeable barrow etc from the modhub that you could pre place in front of houses you want to consider for rental.

Yeah it makes for a real good gameplay I think. I've many more rules I'll keep chucking in. Setting the game months to 6 days at x30 I think will be good though. Gonna have to keep checking that weather forecast now 🤣

@@RuseyKZfaq oh I definitely like the movie (cinema mode) I personally think that in this way you can make the movie viewers more realistic, show your work on the farm even more,yes definitely cinematic mode, but of course it's just my feelings some of the viewers will probably disagree with me I've noticed recently that almost all youtubers speed up their videos this is (bad) because of this the whole atmosphere of the game on the map is running away,I guess that's how I approach farming that I'm old I'm already 47 I don't like childishness in this game, and one more thing about all autoloading on trailers it's incomprehensible to me how you can create such a mod for this game it's not real

When you drove the tractor around on the field, you connected the weight up but you never lifted it up! That weight was holding that tractor back the whole time, as weights do cause extra slip!😂🤣🤪👍👍

That job is good, but the fact that a fertilizer job require that you need to buy fertilizer even though you borrow the equipment. Those plowing contracts wouldn't require to buy stuff

Okay new sub for this, I want to see how you work this out. Are you playing for a long term goal before ending this series? Hopefully a large farm including livestock and productions. But it will be interesting to see you do it hardcore on FS22. I agree with the farmer paying for the herbicide or whatever the job requires. I don't know why Giants made contracts that way. It's totally unrealistic so would not fit with this playthrough for sure.

I will absolutely aim for everything, I like to do different to the norm, so likely to be things like ducks, goats and calfs. I've really pushed pigs in my other series again to be different from the usual sheep's and chickens all the time. I guess the series will go on until the views slow down, either way I'll likely keep this same concept even if I started a new map 😀

Now I'm going to check out your Edgewater series to see if I can get some tips on pigs. You are right nobody does them and I think it's because they are hard to do with the feeding requirements lol. Thanks very much Gonçalo. To be honest, I spent so long waiting too, so I figured I'd just do it myself 😅 unfortunately I don't have the luxury of time like the big ones, but... I initially planned to do this once per week. However, I didn't expect the interest so quickly. My normal schedule is roleplay on Saturday (which I really think is up there with Daggerwins level, I put a lot of time into perfecting the story) then Edgewater sask Tuesday, keep it real Wednesday, sask Thursday. I'll look to increase "keep it real" to twice a week if I can though. I've 3 kids and full time work so once in a while it can change 😀

Awesome episode 👏 im looking forward to this series. This is a absolutely beautiful map driving around. Ive been under the impression the cost of goods for contracts is figured into the pay of the contract and why they pay so well. Ive seen daggerwin use a mod that would be perfect for this series. The lease to own mod.

@Rusey that is a good way to go about it. That is probably one of the PC mods I most wish would come to console. Love the thoughts of all the other realistic mods. But in the USA loads of farmers only lease tractors and harvesters

Yeah I remember you saying many months ago about leasing being realistic as I don't use it in Sask. I've always found leasing to be a bit too easy but I think it works well in this series

@Rusey I think it will aswell. I personally think the leasing system needs to be completely reworked. But I very rarely lease stuff because of being able to modify the equipment. And if truly do a long term lease as equipment ages/wears out still paying new equipment coast amd as hours add on the damages get faster

And if you just visited the farm directly, you wouldn't even need to use that mod to get it delivered. Owners usually have their equipment at the farm or close at their house

I've been thinking of playing in a similar way myself, maybe not so much on the realism mods, but with some of the nice mods like autoload, but on hard difficulty to make you have to really work to get stuff also a map with a lot of small fields

Yeah it's such a fun game when it's really challenging. I've always found hard economy does make the game repetitive and I've lost interest quicker. For me the medium is my preference for a hard game mode 😀

That's the base of the game to pay for it on your own, but of course if the farm owner has some stored already or is willing to pre pay for it, so okay. Not unlikely in the real world when I thinking about it

Hi, this is a very good idea doing this series. Just be careful because I saw you forgot to lift the weight on the tractor and that was the issue when driving, the tractor didn’t have enough traction at times with the weight blocking

Looking forward to this one man. I play all different ways,each play through .... I however do not play "Realistic" so this is awesome seeing different ideas. I do not think it is annoying at all saying/using pounds. I like the rambling and talking videos to be honest. My fav to watch is known for his rambling (Will not use names out of respect for you and your chat) Agreed to let the owner pay for the fert/ needed resources. You probably know, but there is a mod that lets you place items that deducts money automatically every day. (This may be easier so you do not have to manually keep up with it. Good luck with this one!

I knew of a mod to do that but couldn't find it. Let me know if you know the name of it. I don't mind mentioning other top creators. I quite often talk about them in the videos anyway. Maybe one day they'll catch on to my compliments of them and it will drive me some extra viewing 😀 I'm really glad you liked the ideas. I've been thinking this one up for a while and just like to do something different to the normal creators 👌🙂

@@RuseyKZfaq I am pretty sure it is the "Daily deductions" mod. Mr.SealyP is who I was talking about. I like how he rambles, I find it entertaining. I like the Cobblestone houses with the Garage and Car Park. I guess as you are walking and paying for Taxi's Location is the most important.

I've only recently started to watch a bit of Mr sp although I subbed him years ago. His Sask play through is so similar to mine, almost seems I copied him but I'm a few weeks ahead of his videos, almost like he copies me haha. It would be a compliment if he was copying me though 🤣

First time viewer. New subscriber. You are only the second youtube producer I have found on that has this realistic style of play. I can mention the other if you reply and say it is allowed. But he is not on your list above. I will subscribe, and continue to watch this series to see how it turns out. I really like the bases/rules of this video so far. I will say I have one point of disagreement. I don't believe the level of "dirty" has an effect on maintenance. There was a study done on this and also usage hours, to see the effects of maintenance. I have the link, but again, being new, will not publish it here until I know the rules you have on your youtube page. The only item that seems to effect the cost of maintenance was the degree of damage, and the cost of repair per degree of damage. I am dragging on. Great video. Keep them coming.

Looking good so far. Btw why not rent just a single room in a house? That way you don't have to worry about if the place has a garage or not. You just rent a basement room in the place, not the entire house. Would also be cheaper

@@RuseyKZfaq its good to have random number plates, any other 'real' fs22 series i see always have the same number plates or personalised plates, which really bugs me.

Yeah, I think personalised is a bit of a gimmick for this series. I have my name on plates in my sask series, so I won't be doing that on this one 😀

You should not have to buy seed,spray, or fertilizer on contracts. This seems unrealistic to me. I agree that contract work should only be providing the labor.

Have you seen me on a bike in this game 🤣🤣 the only issue with manualy transmission is the gear set ups for the controller, I don't have enough buttons lol

Just found the channel. I always start from scratch myself, hate the other 2 game modes as well. What screen resolution do you play in as your UI looks much smaller than mine, is there a UI scalability mod / option? As for scroft in your description - 100% agree, best roleplay site for FS. 17 Mins in the video. 1st house 800 quid. yep I'd go with that as you say, you can park a car on the grass.... though they are some other good ones. As for the "rent" given the amount of money you can make per month with contracts, maybe 800 is a little low, maybe 1000 to keep a nice round number of maybe even 1500? I also agree contracts SHOULD have the product. It never made sense to me to buy the seeds & fert. I think the damaging of the crop is a mod you have that does that. Loving the style of this. nice. Please do more.

Pretty sure you can adjust the huddle size in the main options menu of the games main screen 👍 I do reduce mine down as I feel its better for viewing... although sometimes I have to lean forward to read what it says 😅 yeah your the 3rd vote for that house. I'll see how the next episode goes and figure out the rent amount. I think I got lucky with that contract. The rest don't seem as well paid. I've plenty more rules to introduce as the episodes go on, plus I'll add more based on suggestions 😀

Ah that's great, I hope you enjoy it. My first 3/4 episodes were a fast crash course in editing so you'll notice the quality and sound will not be great at points. The real effort and learnings went into the second series of the roleplay which is in Ballyspring 😀

@@RuseyKZfaq It is a little low quality on the sound, but enjoying it all the same. But when it's your first try you can be more than forgiven. Comparing this video to the first one just shows how much it's improved. So willing to put up with a few episodes. :)

Cheers buddy, yeah I've really come on. I did the wosnice and the Somerset survival last year and as a noob I didn't get a huge amount of interest so I didn't really do a great deal for a couple months, other than find the right software and learn editing through many many tutorials. One of my original viewers messaged me in January asking for more which gave me the kick to produce more, since the first episode of season 2 roleplay in ballyspring I've gone from 74 subs to now nearly 700 after today 😅 for me it's all about talking to people and enjoying the game, the more subs the more I can share 😀

How do you make the contract vehicles appear in the field? 14:39 I met your channel the other day and I find it super interesting, I'll follow this series since I also eat my head when I start new games. I just started one in CARPATHIAN COUNTRYSIDE hehe

I use the store delivery mod which allows you to change the spawn point of all vehicles, it also changes the reset points so essentially when ypu borrow the items for the contract they appear wherever you set it too. I just set this point to the field before I took the contract. You can see me do it just before that part of the video 😀. Starting a new map is the best by far, I love it 😀

No worries. Just remember to reset the marker after you've finished other wise the next time you buy something yourself it will charge you extra for the delivery. It is a pc mod by the way 😀

It's a great mod for this kind of playstyle. Wasn't it fs 17 where contracts were collected and started at the field entrance? I wish you could still do that on fs22

I love daggerwin, and have followed him since fs15 but honestly, Scrofts "the farm hand" series is really incredible. If you haven't watched it, it is defo worth your time. I like to mention the people who deserve more, daggerwin is by far the leader of fs content, probably always will be, I'm sure little old me won't help him get more views 😅

😅 I needed to rent a house, and just at random, I could only rent maybe every 4th house I think it was. I did it mainly, so i had lots of comments after telling me which house to rent 😀 to add a challenge to the money 😀 thanks for watching, I appreciate it
