NOTE: Because of other urgent work we couldn't build the roof on this house ourselves and another company did it for us. We couldn't film that process but we filmed the finished look of it. Hope you like it.
This video is Part 3 of a series: Moving a Log cabin to a New Location.
This CNC log cabin was built by a Finnish company more than 20 years ago. The first 2 episodes of the series cover how we dissemble the log cabin in its original location, and in this video, we show you how we put it back together in the new location.
WHY: BECAUSE Recently this log cabin got a new owner and his wish was to transfer it to a new location.

Nice one guys. I like the live logs (or whatever you call them, odd natural shapes best) but these things sure fly together fast! I can't imagine trying to build a complex floor plan with the live logs. Also, you captured the scenery so very well, absolutely beautiful.

Je prekratek ker je lastnik sam delal in ni dobro izmeril, kasneje so podaljšali beton.

Sehr schön. Aber setzungen von bis zu 16cm pro Etage. Und die trocknungsgeräusche dein Leben lang. Und hast du mit kork gedämmt riecht es da drin wie in einer finnischen räucherkammer.👍😁😁

Perhaps this was covered in part 1 or 2 (youtube gave me part 3), but doesn't CNC stand for "computer numerical control?" Where's the computer?

@@shirleymatthews2980 this was a specific job, because our company had to transfer the log cabin from one location to the one you see in this video. So there was no cost of material and/or planning.

The building is certainly beautiful, but in my opinion there are design flaws. 12:38 - the entire roof rests on an adjustable stand, the ridge beam is connected in a triangular cut

Подложка, аналогичная той, что укладывают под ламинат. Но она толще, и служит для выравнивания неровностей фундамента под бревном и затыкания дырок.
