I liked when Stephen Hawking Explained his reasoning for the big bang, and It reminded me of Magnetic poles, and how Much he (Stephen Hawking) must think about the "big" big bang and all the "what if's" streaming from him daily. For example, Is There things the opposite of a black hole? has one been created(Probably not By humans)? I feel that if Before the big bang, there was Absolutely nothing, Than Nothingness is

I'm sorry but this low hanging logical fallacy is just... so dumb. For starters, you realize how elitist this perspective is, right? It's gatekeeping on the virtual highways. You are affixing yourself as the arbiter of what is important, worthwhile, and take it upon yourself to declare that a great population of our earthly brethren are "stupid" or "sheep" or "missing what's important" or any other nonsensical conclusion drawn sneering at our society while seated so snidely atop your ridiculous high horse. I really hope you outgrow this perspective, and channel your energy and focus onto our similarities, not out differences. I hope you can put to rest this malignant idea that there is some Kardashian-loving piece of the population that is in any way different than you. Empathy. Good luck, and we're all counting on you.

Stephen Hawking was barely a teenager when Albert Einstein died (though it's an interesting coincidence that Hawking died on Einstein's birthday). Funny Neil degrasse tyson or hawking or einstein magically has the right answer , any other theory is instantly denied and ridiculed unless, it goes with the scheme/system. I’m impressed that Neil asked the question “ so that means a black hole isn’t completely black?” Well in 2021 we finally got a clearer photo of one , and it does have color. It almost looks identical to what Neil said, it looks like it radiates some sort of temperature.

This episode answers so many questions I had and even questions that I don't think that I would have ever thought of. I believe in the Theory that energy can't be created or destroyed but only changes form and Stephen Hawking will still be with us along with all the other great energy in this universe.

Great speach at the end Neil I Definitely agree our greatest gift is our mind, Consciousness itself, having the ability to make our own decisions ,it's crazy to think that we take that for granted

@Sasquatch94 hehe true true . and i agree the movie is science fiction but i like how it's a never-ending cycle between real science and sci-fi feeding each other allowing our brains to imagine and inspiring humanity to evolve and advance scientifically and technologically . side point , several times now , sci-fi has helped me understand real scientific theories . danny boyle's sunshine helped me pass physics 101 which i failed the first time in college even , LOL ! eventually some young kid will be so inspired by sci-fi that they fall in love with science and become the next great scientist of their time . 😃
