Because we are too hard on ourselves" That hit me hard, I always have this thought in my head when I'm working on a piece that I should always try to make it as perfect as possible rather than focus on ways to improve it.

she does everything so slowly, I could never i would just rip open the packaging for the tape, scribble my goals on my sketchbook, pour hot water for my tea that it splashes and rip open the packaging for the stickers

omg i swear when she first started painting those strawberries I was like "umm... those look.. kinda ugly" but when she showed us the final product I was literally dead it looks SO adorable!!!!! so realistic but like doodle-vibes at the same time. its just proof that no art looks good during its making process, so don't lose motivation!! finished art pieces look 100x better :)

Thanks for the motivation. Honestly I’m a perfectionist and I hate myself for always tearing the paper and starting over again because I feel like my previous drawings are ugly. But now I’m gonna control myself not to waste paper and be free to draw whatever I like to do without thinking of the outcome. Because every art is beautiful✨ every piece we create is wonderful. That’s a reminder for myself.

I love how aesthetic you doing art is while with me it’s just me with my face, fingers and any exposed skin covered in paint sitting on the floor or my bed if it’s sketching despite having a desk cuz it’s more comfortable. Like I could never be THIS organised and put together. And this is why I love this video, cuz it’s everything I want to do but will never be bothered to so I really respect u for be able to do this.

I was watching kelly stamps when I saw one of your comment, then I saw you make videos. currently I'm struggling to find my style of drawing but seeing you do this I finally had a thought of what to do. My uncle passed away 2 days ago . It's really a hard time for my family. We never expected to loose him this early.. He was a man loved by all . He loved everyone as well. I'm a broke artist but I try my best to save every money that I get just for masking tap and I'm just a kid .I use the same piece of masking tap again and again by drying it and i restore it's sticking ability by again wrapping it to its coil i hardly get any good paper to paint must of them are so costly even the most simple one and i have only 10 brush but they all are really cheap and gets easily destroyed. My life is a crisis 😩 and I don't want to trouble my mom she's already working really hard just for me and my older sis and this year my sis is going to college which means more spending to do .But I'm still really happy with this life sure i can't have everything I want but I'm happy with whatever I have and when I buy any sketchbook I loose my control cause I get so many ideas that those pages aren't enough for me .

Am having a bad week and came across your video in my recommendations.. So glad that I clicked on your video cos it's such a soothing video that my anxiety actually slowly lessen.. Watching you draw reminded me that I haven't drew in a while and although I'm not good at drawing, the process of learning how to draw was so fun and I love the feeling.. How are you supposed to learn to draw without references? Even the old masters used references. No one magically knows how to draw things without looking at them.
