Good Advice, Pam!!!! When we started this journey five years ago, my main goal was to instill in my kids the love of learning, like you said, and to find their love for reading. The Public School had literally sucked that right out of my kids. It took a bit, but we got there. My kids now truly enjoy learning and reading!!! T

Definitely a breath of fresh air! Thanks for the reminder that the goal is to enjoy time with my children and that there’s no need to compare.

I love this. I’m about to make the jump to homeschooling with my kindergartener (which I’m so sad about because I genuinely love his elementary school). I’m already spiraling into high school curriculums because I struggle making decisions with too many unknown variables. Thank you for the reminder that I won’t ruin him, even if the process is more fluid than I’d like.

I watched some videos about the differences between various homeschool methods and I was hoping one would stand out, but there were things I loved about all of them! I love the idea of eclectic homeschooling where we can pick and choose and patchwork the whole thing with the parts of certain curriculums we like. Its ok to be a bit hodgepodge as long as it works. I may even try doing one unit of each method to see how we like it.
