It's real nice to finish off my Sunday KZfaq channels watching with a Chris Letsdig18 video. Chris, that property is really looking good. There's no doubt that by the time you're finished on this project it'll be seriously nice, groomed and ready to be seeded once the pond itself is done. Mr. Bealy and Ms. Bealy will certainly enjoy lots of good times with their little ones on that pond.

From my time working on heavy equipment, low leaks seem to happen when equipment sits because it is cool so the seal and metal shrinks and also the pressure against the seals which help them to expand and seal is relaxes so the oil can weep around the seals. If that makes sense. Wish the equipment I use to work on had been maintained like you do. So much easier to fix small issues before they become major failures. Thanks very much for sharing.
@John13Edge2 жыл бұрын
Seal are designed so that the higher the pressure the better the seal….seals with equal pressure or installed backwards will weep..

@@patrickcolahan7499 I was just trying to complement what you where saying….older seal tend also leak when the spring material losses its ability to supply enough tension or the actual seal material losses its elasticity.

I’m 75 years old and I’m still a kid that enjoys watching you battling the stumps and winning! The repetitive nature of the work does tend to make it boring. Much like marine fisheries surveys I used to do in the Bering Sea got boring after the fiftieth sampling station! The work has to be done regardless how boring it becomes.
@Damoinion2 жыл бұрын
I can feel that one. I spent time as engineer on a small survey boat doing hydrographic surveys for marine charting. Back and forth, back and forth, day in day out for up to 3 months at a time.

It might be dusty Chris, but lets take a minute to remember how much you love mud. Those stumps might not have plucked out so easy if it were not so dry. 😆

Hey Chris, your videos just makes me keep coming back. They never get stale to me. There is always something that stands out or catches my eye. Lovely and thanks for your effort. I was wondering about the burn pile. What if you first stack a thick layer of stumps and then the rest of the wood on top. Then you can use the gaps between the stumps as air supply to the middle of the fire in the way of a massive rocket stove. Get it nice and hot and also give the stumps time to burn out. Wonder if it will work?

Great work Chris , thanks for the video share 👍👍👌🍺🇬🇧 You can see how America had all those terrible dust storms in the early 1930’s , with all that dust rising when you lift those stumps, Chris.
@davidkettell57262 жыл бұрын
The dust storms were caused by novice farmers taking the bad advice of farm bureau agents who told them they could farm more acreage without trees or hedgerows. If you look at all farms throughout Europe you will see dividing tree lines and hedges. The roads were built many years later around the fields which is why they are so winding.

Chris. Thank You very much for the videos. You gave me an idea on tree removal using a heavy duty sub spoiler on a tractor. I sub soil on all four sides of the tree chain it and out she goes, as the sub soiler cuts the heavy roots. That comes from watching you work that stumper buclet by cutting the roots each side before popping the stump out of the ground. Thank You.
