Wow that drone shot made me appreciate how tall those trees are, and how much you have to play with them to fall the right way. Scary!

Hey Chris, be happy the oil mainly hit the cab. Just over a month ago on a site a few hundred feet from where I was working, I'm guessing a hose blew closer to the engine on an excavator clearing the site, and it went up in flames.
@Vickie-Bligh2 жыл бұрын
I loved the excavator dance on the pond dam. Looked like a dinosaur bringing nesting materials to its mate. You do some fine work, sir. This is a fun project and I'm glad the big dozer is working. Too bad the excavator said "I'm done for the day". Hope you can get that new hose quickly.

Now when this job is complete you get to clean not only the latest hydraulic leak spray but the mess the cylinder on your boom has been making. Getting harder and harder to read the VOLVO on the stick with all the dust sticking to the oil. You are doing GREAT work and you will get your baby shining when this is complete, no doubt about it!

It really shows how different trees are in various parts of this beautiful country that Chris refers to those pecker poles as big trees. I guess calling them kind of tall makes sense but big trees out here in the north west means one to three logs being a max load on a log truck. Not many of the truly big ones left, but when I was a kid there be giants…
