Startup Mistakes:
Slidebean is my third startup. The other two failed and left me with a sad face and a few thousand dollars in debt.
In this video, I talk about the startup mistakes I made, the hard lessons I had to learn, and how they translated into the success of this new company.
I'll be talking about three specific mistakes in this video,
On my first company, 00:40
1- Outsourcing the development
On my second company, 02:06
2- Undefined terms that led me to owe $15,000

While this didn't kill the company, it was a very close call.

If you could also cover how those metrics can be gathered I would appreciate that. Like how do you know how many users are coming and going? I'm guessing it's some kind service like Google analytics, but I'm not sure.

I like listening to the numbers when it comes to success or failure because its a clear metric. I have myself failed some startups and I am planning to start again. I was on 25k debt and I cleared it somehow but had to leave my company. Before starting new one I am trying to learn as much as I can. Best wishes for your company.

Fantastic startup business presentation. Having worked through several startups over the years since the early 80"s, into both immense success as well as business downturns (there are no failures) I refer to them as "problem manageability" issues, I can so relate to your entire experience with all of your business entities in and including, Slidebean.
