Very simple. This franchise was made for a specific demographic. That franchise has been literally highjacked to now cater to a different demographic, ie women and all the wokeness you can imagine. Couple that with bad storytelling, you have a disaster in the making. Not one single thing from this trailer grants me so much as lukewarm interest in this show. Not even the once beloved Star Wars logo. You have managed to do something that 20 years ago was believed impossible… turn the Star Wars franchise into a C-rated SyFy Channel project. Congratulations, Disney, on voting to keep those in power who have greatly diminished your company. I, for one, cannot wait until you are forced to sell to a streaming company you once mocked as a non-threat.

Why is giving valid criticism to a company that is ignoring its paying customer base to stop forcing identity politics into mainstream entertainment considered so bad that it provokes such vitriolic comments from a certain few on this channel?
