6:43 When the younglings talk about professor huyang, there is mention of a in universe legend about huyang coming from a space blue box. That's a reference to Doctor Who, where David Tennant (Huyang's VA) was one of the actors playing the Doctor. Perfect timing with the New Doctor announcement

When fighting Asajj Ventress in the dark (not knowing for sure who she was), Anakin mentions having beaten one of Dooku's pawns before. He also recognized Asajj's ship right before it opened fire on him. During their duel, Asajj comments on Anakin's apparent growth. All of this heavily alludes to their duel on Yavin IV.

@@dvdgld99 It was raining heavily on Yavin IV, the duel took place at night, and they never actually spoke to each other during that duel. So Anakin didn't have any idea who he was fighting on Yavin IV, just that they wielded red lightsabers and we're presumably an agent of Dooku.

@@dvdgld99 it was dark in the tunnel so he couldn't see her. Then when she escapes and the light hits her he says he doesn't have enough time to take in her features

I read a handful of the Jedi Apprentice books back in the day so I can't help but feel a little giddy at Siri Tachi being recanonized in A Certain Point of View and being mentioned again here.

This book feels right in line with Master and Apprentice, Dooku Jedi Lost, the Padme trilogy(Queens Hope, Queens Shadow and Queens Peril). It's super cohesive, I've seen people say it's like Clone Wars Season 0 and I agree but the quality is more in line with an arc from the later seasons.

Hi can you please tell me their chronological order. Like what comes first or are they happening simultaneously? From what I know it's Dooku Jedi Lost, Master and Apprentice, not so sure about the Padme trilogy and Brotherhood, but ik they're after AOTC. Thank u in advance.

@@ladyvader2648 Chronological order: Master and Apprentice, Queen's Peril, Queen's Shadow, Dooku: Jedi Lost, Queen's Hope, Brotherhood. Parts of Jedi Lost take place way before the others though :)

I want Windu crushing Grevious's chest to be recanonized. It always amused me how it explained why Grevious was coughing so much at the beginning of "Revenge of the Sith."

another reference to the Revenge of the Sith novelization is the fact that stars die out. Anakin was shocked to see a dwarf star and Obi-Wan explained that stars die out, which Anakin compares to Obi-Wan, Padme, his mother, and himself - the stars remind of what he lost and what he can lose. This is in Chapter 1 of the novel. "all things die, Anakin Skywalker. Even stars burn out. All things die."

So many nods to Revenge of the Sith novelization with phrases like, "This is how it feels to be Anakin..." And "This is Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker..."

I personally noticed a pretty deep cut reference to the "One Destiny" TV spot for TPM with Anakin recalling Qui-Gon giving him the same speech as the narration in that commercial 😆

Matthew stover did not leave a crumb for his ROTS novelization. I just got done re-reading it and oh my god it’s better than the movie in so many ways. I would’ve liked a 6 hour cut of ROTS like Matthew Stover’s version of the story.

Just finished the audiobook. This should definitely be considered to be turned into a screenplay. Lucasfilm Animation could do this justice as a one-off for Disney+.

There’s a mention huyang arriving at the Jedi temple in a blue box a long time ago. This is a reference to Doctor who since Huyang was voiced by David tenant who also played the 10th doctor.

I deeply wish I could find someone who can really help me understand the whole story of Star Wars. I come from a place where the novels are not familiar, but I would offer my time just to learn how things came to be in Star Wars because it seems complicated, and too many intricacies are present in the novel storyline. On page 309 of the hardcover edition, during the scene where Anakin and Mill meditate with Yoda and Obi-Wan unknowingly nearby, Anakin instructs her to "Breathe, just breathe." Does that qualify as an Easter egg?

I have a question about the book even though I haven't read it yet, but I hear it around a lot. Does this "Cato Nemoidia business" refer to the counterpart events of the novel Labyrinth of Evil book from Legends? Or is it a different sort of adventure?

Completely different events. Remember, this book takes place just after episode 2 while Labyrinth of Evil was just before episode 3

@@beenalive1736 yes, I actually read labyrinth of evil recently and it is very different. In that version it seemed pretty definitive that Anakin saved Obi-Wan but in the new canon version it’s up to interpretation.
