Exploring the Star Wars universe from the ground level was incredible. The show really makes you FEEL the presence of the empire for the average galactic citizen, and watching rebels navigate the facist/authoritarian enforcement of the empire felt so right for the star wars universe. All of a sudden there’s a lot more gravity to the Empire for me. Star Wars really needed this bit of world building and storytelling.

Once things that gets to me about Star Wars droids is how very short call Numbers are treated as unique. “3PO” describes C-3PO's droid line. Does that mean he is only the 3rd 3PO droid ever made, or even the 12th or 13th? What's more realistic is to think that C-3PO describes what version of 3PO droid he is, and there are hundreds of not thousands of droids out there who are functionally identical (at least initially). Anyway, Anakin basically put him together like a rebuilt computer in a Dell case, so from the outside he doesn't look unusual at all.

I’d like to think that the Crystal from Qui-Gon’s saber was kept as a keepsake for Obi-Wan Kenobi and eventually when Luke makes his new saber in Jedi, he found the crystal and used it for his saber.

I've been a Star Wars fan for maybe 30 years but I've only ever watched live action content. Now I finally got enough time to binge watch the clone wars and needless to say I really loved it. And the last 4 episodes made a perfect ending. I used to dislike Maul but this made me really like him as this corky but vicious character. I will be watching more animated content now cause I'm hooked.

My head cannon is that multiple Y-wings were shot down on their way to the target before entering the trench. Like you see in rogue one where I think 3 Y-wings are shot down on the way to the shield gate. It makes sense that the Death Stars crews are experienced. And Y-wings are slow.

Q&A: Hey, Alex. I did a rewatch of Ep.1. I noticed that when Padme, her entourage, and the Jedi escaped Naboo, they rescued a large number of pilots, too. What happened to all those pilots? It seems like we never see them again. The Queen’s Yacht was not that large. We never see one pilot once the ship took flight. The ship escaped the blockade and landed on Tattooine. Once the ship landed, there were no signs of the pilots. They repaired the ship and departed Tattooine for Coruscant. Once they touched down on the floating landing platform, there were no sign of any of the pilots. What happened to all those pilots. It was hard to get an exact count. Safe to say, though, there were at least a dozen of them.
