I for one think that there's still potential for desert planets in Star Wars. A battle in a Grand Canyon sized ravine would be impressive to see.

I would have included Kessel, it seemed a very hostile planet for life in both Rebels and Solo.

Antarctica is technically a desert, so by extension i think that would make Hoth a desert world too

There’s also Concord Dawn, Atollon, and maybe Parnassos (I forgot if Parnassos is a desert planet or if it is just rocky and barren)

Moraband will always be Korriban to me it's the most intresting desert planet in star wars as long they bring back sith force ghosts. Hopefully no more tatooine or tatooine clones for awhile I'd like to see more non desert planets introduced into cannon it would be awsome to see less earthlike planets and get something way more alien looking with colors you wouldnt normally see in nature on earth

If a planet can support little or no rain, or other means of precipitation, it's considered a desert. Savareen, seemed to be quite a case, having an Ocean that big, means that it have storms that can support heavy rain, so it shouldn't be theoretically a desert planet.
