Obviously, like every series, it had its flaws but overall I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had a feeling about it which made me feel like I was a kid watching Star Wars again. Not as good as Andor as a TV show but gave me that child-like feeling I had when I watched the movies for the first time. I'm also a huge rebels fan so that probably helped as well

Great moments for sure. But in my opinion the show only comes out as decent for me because there are still moments that can take you out of it from time to time and development of some characters were lackluster. All we knew about Sabine and Ashoka” “bond” is that they’ve always struggles together, spited each other, and clash with their different motivations. Then when the finale starts they basically rush it. Sabine can use the force with ease now. Anyone can use the force now. Force sensitivity isn’t rare or special anymore. You just gotta train at minimal and you can do it

i found the finale of this show to be slightly underwhelming but i feel that’s because we have been spoiled with finales in the past. all around this show was so good and im excited to see what they do in the future with it. one of the better disney projects yet in my opinion

Could someone explain to me why Ashoka, Ezra and Sabine took their time going to the tower at the speed of the damn turtles instead of going full speed with the Jedi shuttle directly on Thrawn's ship? Or even they could have gone directly to the eye of Scion... and the other thing, Sabine could have shot her blaster at Elzbeth's back and that's it, no fight, game over for her.

I felt it was a waste to kill her off Elsbeth. Who will fight against Jedis if she's not there? Thrawn and The Great Mothers don't fight with a lightsaber. Morgan was the best warrior of that group. Ahsoka trended up with Ep 4-6. Then limped to the finish line with Ep 7 and 8 like Game of Thrones did. You should watch The Critical Drinker's recent video about Ahsoka. I'm not that harsh but I agree with 80% of what he said especially his comments about Dave Filoni and Thrawn acting dumb. Go back to Ep 8. Sabine crashes the ship. That delayed the group even more. But for convenience, they still catch up to Thrawn! 😂 They give Sabine her Force powers at the most appropriate time. Thrawn giving every chance to Ahsoka to catch up while he is on this giant star destroyer that completely misses everytime they aimed at Ahsoka & Co. Thrawn should not feel any sense of accomplishment. Morgan, Baylan, and Shin helped them escape. Morgan died for him after her promotion while Baylan and Shin did help rescue Morgan. Lars is perfect as Thrawn but how he behaves is completely moronic. Blame the awful writing. What a waste to lose Diana Lee Inosanto, goddaughter to Bruce Lee, while Rosario Dawson looks completely amateurish with a lightsaber. Diana is like 13 years older than Rosario and she still moved quicker and more fluid.

All these Star Wars shows feel plastic overall. Yeah there are good moments but no one dies and lightsabers are toys. The animations, Rogue One, and Andor are the only Disney projects with real depth imo.

The real question is will Baylan Skoll be recast? Some say it should be Liev Schreiber who is 6'3 like Ray Stevenson. I think it should be 6'2 Gerard Butler but he'll be too expensive. Kristian Harloff suggested Vincent Regan who was in live action One Piece but only stands at 6'0. Hayden Christensen is only 6'0 and people accepted him as Vader considering David Prowse was 6'6 and a bodybuilder while Hayden is far more shorter and scrawnier. I believe Baylan will end up being recast because his story arc might be too valuable to kill off so soon. And recasting roles happens all the time. Harrison Ford is the new Thunderbolt Ross since William Hurt already died. Thor Skywalker has really been critical with Ahsoka. Prior to the S1 finale, IMDb had it at 8.0. It's dropped to 7.8 and I predict it will drop even further. Wife of Thor Skywalker said Shin Hati is Mara Jade 2.0. That all Dave "Felony" really did was rehash what he's already done. Mortis gods, WBW, same old shit. Fan service for nerds who saw his cartoons. More member berries / nostalgia bait. My big complaints from Ahsoka was the slow pacing and bad writing. Loki S2E1 moved much faster. Characters acting dumb and this includes Thrawn. They really ruined Sabine and made her into the dumbest character. Gives the map to Baylan. Crashes the ship. Reward her with Force powers only 10 minutes later. Rosario's Ahsoka has less personality than a wooden plank. My biggest issue with Ahsoka is nothing ever seems to be at stake. Failoni makes Ahsoka so powerful that nothing ever has any tension. This goes back to her animated stuff. She's living off the back of Anakin's popularity. Being his apprentice. Even how slow and awkward Rosario swings a lightsaber, she'll beat a martial artist and stuntwoman like Diana Lee Inosanto because Ahsoka has plot armor. If Ahsoka is The Daughter, then how come she never mentions this to Baylan? Isn't he seeking the Mortis gods? Then you got Thrawn not bolting every door or gate shut. You got Shin and Marrok not shooting the ship instead of Ahsoka in Ep 3. Chimaera missing every shot like the Night troopers. Morgan and the Great Mothers helping the Empire when they massacred their people in Dathomir. I don't know if the Skeleton Crew will do well. Might be the Ms. Marvel of SW. Nobody will watch it. It seems like every popular franchise out there isn't doing well. I'm watching Gen V, and while it's not as good as The Boys, it's better than Ahsoka. Star Wars has this growing reputation of becoming too girly. The Force is female. It's now called She Hers. My most anticipated for the rest of the decade is The Batman 2. Then maybe Dawn of the Jedi. I lost faith that the Heir to the Empire movie will be any good. Majority of the female SW characters are so bland and boring. Well, except for Andor. The females in it don't act like caricature tropes. They have no superpowers and act the most realistic. Gen V's first episode with a scene similar to Termite's in The Boys S3E1 is more memorable than anything Ahsoka showed.

I hate to say it, I truly hate to say it because I've loved Star Wars for decades, still do, and always will, and I always had this hope that it might become great again, but like everything else in life, inevitably, Star Wars has succumbed to the law of diminishing returns 😢 With that, all that can be said, so that it will always be remembered as one of the greatest, if not the greatest cinema stories of all time, there is just one more thing to say... What a total snore fest of a show...

Episode 5 was fantastic. That’s about it. Sabine was horrendous and really dampened this show. Baylon and Shin were by far the best characters in the show, and they hardly had any involvement in the last 2 episodes. Sabine and Hera were both miscast, and Ahsoka was just there with her arms crossed most of the time. The choreography was a mess. The Sabine Jedi storyline is only going to get worse and worse. They basically scrapped Grogu becoming a Jedi Mandalorian and gave it to Sabine instead. SMH The Season was a 7/10 at best, and that’s only because of Ray Stevenson and Hayden Christensen. They also turned Thrawn into a moron. All of my friends who are big Heir to the Empire fans were not impressed at all.

This is why they keep giving us malarkey 🤢 Star wars. We get excited when Anakin/ Vader shows up
