And it may just be that the US's game, is a form of "thanks" for going to Haiti (on their doorstep), condemning Russia's war on Ukraine in the way they did, and for drawing a way from China. Of course they want it to remain that way, and they want Kenya to be stronger and have more influence in Africa, to help keep the image that free democracies can work, and other countries need to see that.
