A permanent ceasefire was never offered to Hamas, hence they refused the deal. They did not want Israel to resume hostilities as it feels fit.

Israeli officials stated last year that there were 30 000 Hamas militants. How else can one explain an estimated 120 000 Palestinian casualties to date (37 600 dead) and between 145 000 - 160 000 buildings being destroyed (satellite imagery) if Israel claims it only targets Hamas? Judging by the estimated statistics, Hamas should no longer exist. BUT THEY DO. Even if one hamas militant occupied one building each, it would only result in 30 000 destroyed buildings. So Israel's claims that it only targets Hamas just don't add up. Either their intelligence is the worst on the planet OR they are deliberately targeting civilians. Either way, it's a war crime. And the above does not take into account the ground invasion. Who exactly is the IOF shooting at?

Hamas did accept 'Israels' deal shortly after Biden announced it. Their 'not accepting' was due to they'd returned a couple questions and so US State Dept started that talk that it was Hamas to blame. That while Israel stated that the conflict will not end, ie No possible cease fire, under Hamas is no more. US is alone is expecting anyone to accept a ceasefire deal which will not lead to a ceasefire.

Just because there is two ongoing conflicts does not mean the circumstances in both are identical. If Ukraine controlled the food supply to Russian citizens, as Israel does in Gaza, then yes, yes they would have a duty to allow humanitarian assistance in to civilians there. Unless of course you’re in favour of what would be Ukraine contributing to the mass starvation of millions of blameless Russians? I’m not sure the UN, in the first major independent report on the war in Gaza issued this week, said ‘but Ukraine’ when they concluded Israel was using hunger as a means to wage war on not just Hamas, who deserve it, but the entire Gaza population. Maybe you should let them know they’re wrong there because Ukraine isn’t sending aid to Russia. I’m blown away by your lack of humanity.

For all those that care about the facts: This anti Israel "reporter" was complaining that no aid was coming through the Rafa border crossing and insinuating it is Israel's fault. That's absolutely fake news! Egypt closed the border crossing to all aid after Israel took control of the area. Even though Israel has been pleading with Egypt to resume the aid deliveries, Egypt is refusing, all bc it doesn't want to be seen as working with Israel. So any complaints should go towards the Egyptians! But like always, it's just easier to blame the Jews!

@OldFroaky isn't it a requirement under international law that an occupying state is required to provide adequate food, water, and other necessities of life to its occupied people? It's an obligation, not a courtesy. Kind of like how prisoners of war are still required adequate food, water, etc. Unless you don't care about international law. To be fair, many people don't.
