found it today on spotify recommendation, listened a lotttt. like the drums, the guitars, the voice of the singer, the superposition and all the instruments playing different melodies, at this different versions I just discover this band. Any recommendation of any other good titles? PS: makes me think of deftones

The drummer loves HUM which makes sense because Deftones love HUM as well. I get more HUM in Static Dress oddly enough than I do Deftones

Do they make their music like this before adding any distortion? That's strange to me but impressive

No. They’re using amp sims which don’t export as stems, so you’re hearing the raw di track that goes into the sims

They'll be usually doing re-amps, so the DI sound makes sense in Post production

Most guitars are recorded this way now, the guitars are recorded clean (a DI) and the tone added later. It leaves a lot more scope for shaping the sound later

@@christianrockxdoesn’t necessarily mean they’re using sims (they could be, I’m not sure personally). DIs are also recorded to be played through physical amps to reamp them, ergo changing the tone or adjusting them for the mix.
