The most impactful of the so far released songs from the new album. My very first exposure to this song was at Makuhari Live on the last January 29th in the Super MOSH’SH PIT!! With Kami-Band's crazily spirited performanse, amazing choreo with some Japanese tastes/Butoh texture, and SU-METAL’ｓSirenic Voice matured to possess redoubled lethality as well, the melancholy but intense beautiful melody line gave me goosebumps from the intro. Knockout at first sight/first listen, BABYMETAL’s killer masterpiece in ages for me. 　The official digital release was far less impactful than the live, but I was able to follow the lyrics carefully. My personal impression is that it is not just a simple love song. Rather, it sounds to me, in keeping with the concept of the new album, the song is a crying out of a sad but dearest, can’t-give up-on love in the center of this irredeemable one world heading for ruin. 　 If the Monochrome is a general discussion in dealing with the impending Ragnarok or the ultimate destruction of our world, then the Light and Darkness can be a song depicting one of our particular ordinary but precious and dear everyday lives that may be lost in the imminent doom. 　 I also feel "Something Uneasy" that Flugelhorn Old Man in Japan commented on Robk's reaction to this MV. If this song was intended to make people feel the frustration of losing love/loved ones, only hats off to them.

⚪ 🌑 That's Momoko Okazaki as the supporting dancer. Momoko has been the avenger for the last 28 BABYMETAL appearances, including the two latest shows in late January. It looks like a third member, or "new metal" will be officially announced during the next two concerts in early April. Momoko is definitely the frontrunner for the position.

Good reaction. The third girl here was the Avenger Momoko. The new third member will be revealed (allegedly) at the concerts on 1st and 2nd April. Whether that will be Momoko we just don't know yet. This is definitely a song that leans a long way towards the pop end of the BABYMETAL sliding scale, further than most I'd say. However, this was the studio audio and I have read the live version is ... different (the Kami Band's instrumentals are more prominent than those of the studio recording). We can only wait for the DVD to hear the live audio and see how much it differs of course. I feel this album, concept aside, is highlighting Su-metal's vocals more than anything and possibly more than has been the case in the previous albums - they each had maybe three or four songs that really did that, this one so far every song has done it.

I was there for this show traveling from the US for this show and only this show. There is no equivalent in my 60 years. If you can check them out live in any country, I would highly suggest it. So this album is THE OTER ONE BABYMETAL that has lived in a different world than the BABYMETAL we know. I am looking forward to seeing which BABYMETAL we will see in April 😁. In other words, there is hope that the fourth album of the original BABYMETAL may be announced soon!😁

I like the song. It fit right in with others released so far. It's a concept album, so I don't think there will be anything too out there. By the way, I don't if you heard, but Hagane split up. Sakura, the main guitarist and Sayaka the bassist remain and will continue on as Hagane while looking for replacements. Reminds me of Bridear's past.

I recently watched a short video of this song by Su & Moa from Amazon Music Messages. According to the ladies, they(Su-) said that the lyrics expressed the light and darkness (shadow), the natural desire for each other, with powerful vocals (now that expression includes some of my own interpretation). No wonder I think it is sensual lyrics. At 1:57, I thought 'This love will never stop' was a bit stale at first, but considering the premise of 'natural desire for each other', it is also a shiver-inducing, and some thrilling verse. When it comes to BABYMETAL and their new album I come to expected the unexpected. So far, I am correct with every new song! Try not to pigeonhole BABYMETAL into a genre or style... they continue to walk their own path and I am very pleased. I am a long time metalhead (40+ years) and grew bored with it all but BABYMETAL has renewed the metal scene! 🤘🦊🤘
