Yea fires on eroupa kinda feed themselves using the atmosphere However if the production room survived you can rebuild.

I had the same problem with my mars base, but i could contain it if i was able to reach the gas cutoff. I ended up with a new base

Would be nice if someone made a mod without phase so you can actually prepare your base before going into this update.

the game has an option to fix volumes and pressures so this doesn't happen

@@manitoba-op4jx yes I took the risk and ran a previous save, it adjusted the gases so it was fine. Just had to run around stopping all gas related machines to rework them, ultimately it was easier to redo the playthrough and ease myself into it.

I feel like I'm one of the few people who physically isolates my fuel mixing and storage area from the rest of the base. It's designed to explode in a controlled manner and be easily repairable. Any section of my main base that contains flammable gas is isolated and designed to fail at pre-planned break points. Also, my alarms go off when volatiles are detected. Intricate system, but it does tend to make the gameplay a bit less exciting haha.

Someone doesn't like to live on the edge like the rest of us. Mine is outside and some of the tanks vent out if it gets too high pressure, but liquids could cause some mayhem.
