I know I’m late but did anyone else notice Myka nudge James at 7:48 when he was talking about having people coming to their house?

They should have been full of joy when they found out their adopted son didn't have a brain tumour and would live a full life. Instead they were devastated. Seems like they wanted a temporary child. Someone said that the initially wanted to foster but then they found out that they couldn't film a foster child in their vlogs so they decided to adopt. Myka said in a clip that she wanted a child with an unfavourable diagnosis. Seems like she wanted a child who wouldn't live long. That way she would get the views, the clout, the money from filming, the child would die and then she could film a tearful, eye dabbing video. When she found out her son would live a long life she wanted out. I did read (and no-one knows for sure if it's true) but I did read that H is saying several words now with his new family. So it seems he was always capable. I'm 100% not an expert but I've taught autistic kids and adults for almost 20 years. (I'm a disability swimming instructor, not a doctor or therapist or anything) and H didn't seem very severe at all. Also children change so much as they grow. I've seen videos of poor little H with his little thumb heavily duct taped up. I've seen a video where they put him in time out when her was getting frustrated and signing for food. That's right. These monsters put a non verbal autistic child in time out for saying he was hungry. And the one thing she gets upset about is having her perfect camera time disturbed. Sickening.

They’re sickening. I call BS on the diagnosis first of all. They took a YOUNG child from another country and threw him into an unknown world. Then they have people take a look at him for a short period of time and test him? What did they test him on? In what language did they test him?? I watched some of the videos where it looked like H was thriving. Saying words, using sign language, making eye contact and just overall interacting like a small child would. These two just need to get real jobs and take care of the kids they haven’t gotten rid of yet!

Omg he does NOT have severe autism. Kids with severe autism often have severe self harm, can’t feed themselves or have any self care, cant communicate etc. He obviously has a ton of potential if you watch him in videos he just needs consistent services, time, love, and patience. I hope this guy is doing well with his new family.

Really weird because she talked about how she really wanted a child with special needs... and about how they talked to many many doctors and agreed that they were comfortable with 99/100 different special need types.. “we’re trying to be a parent instead of FIXING him” says the person who duck taped his hand for sucking his thumb vs how she cherishes when her other older children do the same thing. “I want to love him like a mother” says the person who was complaining on social media about the expensive price for therapy for Huxley and changing it to a cheaper one.. the same people who bought a 600,000$ house and went on a trip to Bali after “rehoming” Huxley. Huxley is not a tool for views and status. Hopefully he has someone who’s adopting him for the RIGHT reasons..

The thing about their comment regarding “The unknown” with adopting. That’s possible for biological children as well. Things happen. You choose to adopt a child and should love them unconditionally just as you do for your biological children. You don’t rehome them when they turn out to not be what you expected.

I remember watching this video for the first time and I immediately thought that they really regretted the adoption. From then on, I watched their videos with different eyes. I noticed that she treated Huxley differently from her other children. I remember a video where she put Huxley in bed and I was surprised she didn't hug him at all. Normally you kiss your kids goodnight or give them a hug. It felt very distant and cold. I also noticed that Huxley was put to bed first so they could enjoy time with their other kids. I felt so sorry for him. I got the feeling he was a big burden to them and I believe they feel relieved now. I think it's terrible what happened, but I really hope Huxley is better off now. It would be so sad for him to spend his whole life with a family that doesn't really want him. I really hope he will be loved and taken care off the right way from now on. Also, it bothered me in this video that Myka grabbed James' hand several times to make him shut up.

If you "love him unconditionally", than you would have never given up on him or given him away! That is the very definition of unconditional love. I get a knot in my stomach everytime I think about the trauma H has suffered at the hands of this couple having been torn form a family. 😥

The stupid idiots weren’t fit to adopt any child. Even if they adopted a healthy baby then there’s no guarantee that in time that child will be perfectly healthy and ‘normal’ . You cannot adopt with preconceived ideas, you have to be very strong. Huxley really wasn’t that disabled, nor was he that delayed either. He can do more then my disabled 7 year old daughter. How were the adoption agency meant to know how Huxley would develop anyway? A disabled toddler doesn’t come with a manual out laying how they’ll develop and how their health and cognitive abilities will pan out each year. They adopted a special needs child specifically. Which means they adopted a whole lifetime of (extra) hard work. They made a rash decision and then being the evil wicked people they are they threw him away and brushed their hands of their responsibilities towards him. They deserve nothing less then to face criminal charges so that other people don’t make the same mistakes. I fear they might trigger another struggling adoptee to quit because they chucked him away so easily.

I am in Dublin in Ireland and we couldn't adopt a child from another country until our whole family had an investigation from our ( CRA) child and family agency.... So social worker would make sure the whole family and family home would be made sure everyone is safe and well, before the adoption during and after. I don’t know why I still feel so sad for this boy losing the only mommy he knew. I still wish they would take him back I don’t know why. I have a special needs boy and some days I just close the door on him and walk away because I don’t know what else to do for him, he will scream at me leave me alone and hit himself and bang his legs on the floor and I just want to cry. I can relate to her tears but I also gave birth to this boy and earlier that day gave birth to his twin whose neurotypical. I could never continue my life without them both. There’s just no option. We constantly question our abilities and strategies, we argue over choices we’ve made in raising him. Never have we considered not raising him. We are his comfort and joy and home so I feel so sad for Hux. I just hope Huxley is happy wherever he is.

Sure he probably had some issues that made some days hard but you just deal and try to have patience with him. Thats what being a parent is all about.
