Hollow chains break easier and are harder to repair. You get what you pay for, a hollow chain won’t last as long as a solid chain.

Tbh the discrimination for hollow chains should ease up a bit. Sold or hollow when the currency’s of the world shuts down and loses value it will be “GOLD” and silver that’ll take the stand. Not “solid” gold or “hollow” gold. Gold is gold bro if you sell the gold for the right price per gram then what’s the issue? No one has an actual comfortable “reason” as to why BOT buy Gold. Once someone gives me a reason I’ll agree.

The hollow chains also cost a lot more money. I remember shopping for a chain last year and the solid 14k chains were $50 per gram. The hollow 14k chains were $85 to $100 per gram. That is a huge price difference. It is kind of silly to pay double the price just for one that looks larger.
