Beautiful Stratford upon Avon...35 miles from my home, but takes one hour to travel to by but car unfortunately it's often longer due to ridiculous traffic levels. If you get chance travel part of the Cotswolds Way which starts in Chipping Camden there are plenty pf lovely villages along the way. Bourton on the Water is a must visit. Enjoy your trip it will be fantastic.

Dave I Own my Home in Ft Lauderdale FL. I am a VW/Audi Retired Representative PARTS & SERVICE REP for the Factory Had to Retire because I Got Cancer 3 Times and it was better for my health but as you know I Stilk get AWESOME Retired HUGE DISCOUNTS ON ANY VW GROUP VEHICLE for life. So I. Own Qty 3. Electric Vehicles now. Qty 2. 2023. ID-4 Pro S RWD. & Qty 1. Audi Q8 E Tron 2023. And also I just Ordered a 2025 Porsche Macan TOP Spec. Surprise for my Husband!! Excellent VEHICLE. WE need to meet up for lunch when you come to Marco Island I am only 2 hours away. Also. I worked for GM before my VW Group for General Motors for 4 years. So I also get GMS Supplier also. But I was considering a Blazer EV or a Equinox EV but the CHARGING CURVE IS HORRIBLE THE PITTS so i will stick with VW Group EV's Best Regards, David K Langel Yes another Dave

I AM SOOOO jealous Dave, you're in Shakespeare country and where Shakespeare and Hathaway is based from British television. Also a big Congrats to you and Kathy on your 35th anniversary. So you drove on the opposite side of the road as well very nice same side I drive on as well here in Australia. Chief Engineer is WAY better than the Captain, they can talk about all the interesting engineering works of the ship and has all that amazing information good for us engineering geeks.

When I lived in Southampton, I went to see the cruise ships a few time. They dwarfed everything like the deathstar! I've always wondered how they work. Congratulations on 35yrs and happy anniversary

Andrew, Dave is from Connecticut which isn’t far from Warwick, Rhode Island. In New England, we pronounce both w’s. He probably directed the bellman to put suitcases in the boot, not trunk.

@@johnpoldo8817 I am more than very well aware of where Dave is from. The way that the American Warwick is pronounced is wholly irrelevant when he is specifically talking about the English location, which was also the first.

Europe is known to have better EV charging than US. Hopefully, Dave shows us some examples.

Looking forward to these upcoming videos. Any thoughts on the 100 percent tariffs now being applied to Chinese EVs that will prevent these cars from being sold in the USA?

It will be great to see all your videos. My grandpa went to London with a work friend when he retired in 1972. I watched you tube videos from people in the uk Ian Sampson who lives near Gloucester uk. He had a 2013 Nissan leaf and drove it all over for 4 years. He then got a Zoe and had that a long time and gave that to his son . Plus the Nissan electric vans the env200. James and Kate are another channel I watch . He repairs evs . I know your trip was jammed with things to do. But it would have been great if you had time to visit martyn from the batteries included podcast and ev news daily. I don’t have 35 years of marriage but I have been at my job 36 years and will be 60 next Saturday. I can’t wait to see your videos.

Happy anniversary. Dave we are married 51 years, and celebrated by taking the family to a luxury resort in Mexico. Love your vids. BTW, while in Normandy, did you happen to stop in a nearby Omaha Beach town or Port en Bessin?

We did go just to Omaha Beach; not the small town Had to make it back to the ship and it was a tight race to get the rental car back to Avis… real tight!

Still find it odd and a little quaint that Americans feel the need to add the country after each town or city - such as Southampton, England and Paris, France. Over here we sort of know where New York or Berlin or Madrid are, without having to say. That said I've watched a load of your videos and they are all entertaining and really well presented.
