Staying in... Travelodge Wimbledon

Жыл бұрынAfter a brief work outing to play some darts we make our way over to Wimbledon to stay in their Travelodge.
We paid £60 for a Thursday night.
Fun/cringe thing about the hotel is that they have named their floors after renowned tennis players. Yep, they lean into the tennis theme with their artwork too but who can blame them. If you have an angle, use it, right?
Have to pay for wifi and the room was blocking any phone signal I had so data was not an option either. Seems a bit naughty.

Even though only a travelodge it ticks a lot of boxes and Wimbledon is one of those parts of London that feels like an overgrown village rather than the smoky city. Also, interesting that there was no Roger Federer floor - I think he's the most successful player in Wimbledon history so I'm guessing its a trademark thing - unless he's in the basement!

Shame you missed all the open commons. The windmill and Cannizaro park. This is the best Best place to live in sw London. 💯

Yeah, I was disappointed about that. I plan on trying to get there at some point in July/August for proper stroll around.

Staying in... Travelodge Windsor Central. Also attended a PlayStation event & explored Windsor a bit
