Premier Inn provide a similar breakfast offering. The main difference is it's cooked to order so you can have your choice of eggs and the items are not sitting underneath heat lamps.

Good format for me. Travelodge is ok for breakfast. You could have gone on down the street as there is a lovely Spoons there. Probably one of the nicest in the UK.

I remember as a kid i ate breakfasts at travelodge and it's amazing. Can't wait for the next opportunity to have it.

It's 9.25. Its central London and its unlimited. No idea how people say this isn't good value..

Stayed here a couple of times. Rooms may be small but ok for single traveller. Better since they have been refurbished. It used to be an office block that was converted to form the Travelodge.

I prefer the old format where you’d talk through the food as you’re eating it. That way we can see an accurate reaction at the time of how it tastes etc

For the price of that breakfast at travellodge. It seemed like a very good deal and i would have rated it 10 if not more, because your kids eat free

I’m going back a few years ago, we were staying at one next to Euston railway station, I was impressed with their breakfast and the staff there 👍👍👍👍

Another solid Video Lee. Like the new format. Must admit I personally enjoy going onto Google maps and working out exactly where you are ( I try and work out how close I've been to the various places you visit ). If you ever feel like adding a new element to these videos maybe start off with a zoom in on a map screen grab? May be a bad idea, may have legs. Anyway, keep up the good work... PS I too hate them bloody toast machines for the same reasons you gave. Any place would instantly lose a mark from me for that

I've had the all you can eat at Blackpool South but our two local ones don't have catering on site so it was a walk to the Cooper Rose in Sunderland City Centre for brekkie. You can't beat a Spoons for brekkie

As a retired rep who travelled the UK and staying in hotels nightly one of the tips I quickly picked up was to place the cold butter packs on the newly toasted bread which makes it easier to spread which I noticed you did.

Fantastic value and can't go wrong, especially London ,my only worry would be getting a table ,peak tourist times

Nice one Lee - loved the assortment of items on offer too, choice of drinks, hot and cold, yoghurt etc. Though I'd be very happy with that cooked breakfast and awesome to note that you can just stroll in and indulge. I think Premier Inn is still well priced, good value, good quality and plenty of choices. Take care my friend, best wishes to you and family.

Looks like Travelodge, Minories, Tower Bridge. My old local Wetherspoon pub is just opposite named “The Goodmans Field“, where I have had many a good meal and drinks. Love it there as it’s good transport links, bus, DLR and if you really need it, railway at Fenchurch Street. I recall there is even a Tesco Express just opposite in case you are still hungry or want a take out coffee. Great review Lee and yes I could recommend that Travelodge eaterie😁👍

If you stay at the Travelodge with your children how old do they have to be To be classed as children for the free breakfast because some buffets say 12 and some places are 16. Phoned the Travelodge up and the age is up to 14 and premier Inn is 16

Not bad value for all u can eat. We stayed at the Central Lodge near The Gherkin back in December and didn't know they had this offering. Maybe as it was Christmas it wasn't available. It's good that you don't need to stay to eat. Looking forward to the Prem Inn vlog as we have had a few of this breakfasts in our time

Decent brekkie. I’m more of a Premier inn breakfast fan personally- the one at York Way near Kings Cross does a lovely breakfast in the Bar and Block.

Considering that this is London, this is excellent value for money. Most people wouldn't even realise you could have breakfast there without being a guest in the hotel.

Go over the tower bridge south as you get over there's a great Italian on the right hand side USED TO PARK MY TRUCK UP FOR THE NIGHT UNDER TOWER BRIDGE

Another good video Mc. I don’t think you can go wrong with “an all you can eat” arrangement. I’ve stayed in a quite few travel lodges and the food is always clean and very decent quality. Got to say I prefer the intimacy and immediacy of you talking about the food straight to camera. It’s the combination of “food and you” that makes this channel what it is my friend. The musical interlude montage was “a little too long” perhaps.😂. Your stuff is always watchable though and I can’t wait to see your international travels next week. I think your last American “food diaries”’were really outstanding. Keep bringing it on!! 7.8 for the food today. 9.5 for the video.👏.x

My fav hash browns are from the Holiday inn buffet breakfast. Noted, take my own Yorkshire tea to a travelodge. Never stooping to a tetleys 🤣🤣🤣

I was a little surprised you had the crunchy nut after your fry up.... I always have the cereal before when I'm at hotels etc.... now I'm questioning my whole breakfast ethos !! 😃

Love that format Lee , I use Travelodge and Premier Inn a lot , they both have good breakfasts but in my opinion P.Inn has the edge and they do a lovely continental as well ... please do them next 🙏. The little sauce sachets really are quite easy to open , but not if you are Macmaster it seems ...🤣🤣..... great vlog, nice change 😎👍

yep solid 9 - looked decent and you can eat away to your heart's content. i don't mind the toast done that way as it comes out well done and hot and you can be sure it hasn't sat around for ages

Mmm… gotta say looks better than the last P.Inn breakfast I had… 🧐 I worked in a factory that made part of the laminate that makes up those sachets… it’s easier to break out of zip ties 😂👍

Have just got back from a 3 night stay at travelodge London Euston and I can honestly say it was a lovely hotel and we couldn't fault the breakfast. I agree about the sachets and always take a small pair of scissors unless travelling internationally when you can't take them in hand luggage this caused me to have an unfortunate incident with brown sauce in Rome.

Good basic breakfast. 8. Use the prong on your fork to pierce sachet

Great value considering as much as you can eat, including cereal,yoghurts, drinks, 9 is a fair score. No choice of fried or poached eggs just lowers the score slightly. Just where else can you get all that for 9.25 ? Get the small Swiss Army keyring knife with scissors and tooth pick.. sorts those sachets out and bacon between the teeth 😉 It's a shame that most do not have food/dining facilities and you have to go elsewhere for food.

Travelodge and premier inn are great hotel chains.

I prefer the traditional format (less music) but the review was great as ever. I had no idea you could walk in off the street or even that they did food at a Travelodge. The food certainly looked pretty good TBH far better than i expected from a Travelodge. Keep up the great work.
