I love the Guard laser experimental, not just because it's cool, but also because whether it's power actually reflects this or not, I'm picturing the monkeylord with two microwave lasers that can aim independently of eachother. Or even together.

I think it is supposed to be a feature of all units with many legs, doubt something like EDA t4 Harvester would be able to do that, but who knows

Looks great , but I see the units are rather skating , then walking 11:14 ;].I hope you will fix that. Ps.I think the big Spider machine animation from Supreme Commander is the best animated unit in any rts game ever.

I’m not a developer. I cover the game. I’m sure they will fix it! The Sup Com animations are super awesome!

Would be cool if they could implement inverse kinetics for the legged units. That way you can make them move in any direction while facing any direction and the legs will do what they need to.

You thinking of something like this? kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d86pqqeq2papd6s.html. Might be tough for the smaller units which need to be in huge quantities, since a procedural walking algorithm might be way more resource intensive than just playing a fixed animation. But maybe for the larger experimentals it might be worth it

Please let the unit designer know, to not to make DUPLO kind of looking units like the ones are in Beyond All Reason! Way too goofy way too childish looking...

@@Kaaxe it could be compared to Zero-K if you’d like. FA, BAR, PA, Zero-K are all inspired by Total Annihilation.

@@Kaaxe Total Annihilation & SupCom units looked good, not too goofy. The very best would be, if someone would make models after real life armoured fighting vehicles, planes, helicopters, ships. I wanted to try to create the units, but BAR was not open to this modding yet. I haven't got a clue what's going on there now.
