I love Key West ! Me and my husband parked near NAPA and walked to the cuban cafe and beach in 40 minutes on the other side of the island ! DEFINITELY going back soon .

I stealth park at the airport there. It used to be $15 a night...not sure what it is now, but no one bothers you and you can use the airport bathroom anytime!! 👍

So much nostalgia for me in this one - my wife and I had a great fortnight's vacation in Key West exactly 20 years ago. We'd see a guy most evenings who travelled around on a chopper with a parrot sat on the back! Seems to draw characters from all over - love it.

Camped all over Key West in the early 70's. We would sleep under the Fishing Skiffs that were beached up from Mallory Pier and pick fruit and Coconuts from trees for breakfast played Music at the green Parrot for tips. It was a very different place back then.

I've literally parked at that library in the background where you are loading up your gear for the day. Seems to always be parking there. Overnight parking not so much... Stealth camping in KW is very difficult. Its basically how they are combatting the homeless; otherwise, every street would be comvered in rundown RVs...aka California and Denver.... Try parking at a vehicle repair shop, like its being repaired... If you get the ticket, $45 bucks is better than the $120 camping fees they charge at local campgrounds.

I watched your video and was pleased to know you were OK. I was getting concerned. I personally don't care if you cook one, twice or not at all. I like seeing things thru your eyes. Your discovery of Wawa and Publix were refreshing. Tomorrow we will be having Wawa for breakfast, scrambled egg bowls and a donkey turd(apple fritter). They have decent food at reasnable prices. There are 2 things that must be in your video for me, you being Ok and Zora, everything beyond that is a bonus

I boondock in my 4Runner too. The clear blue skies and Temps in the 70s is not summer weather in Florida. It's too HOT and HUMID to do vanlife now. Think she filmed her vlogs back in Feb/Mar.

I had a doctor some time ago, 15 years at least , anyway, my doctor told me Americans shower too much and its not good for us. UNLESS you RE DOING REALLY HEAVY OR REALLY DIRTY WORK he said more than once a week is not good for us. I told him I am a mechanic and he said, nevermind. lol

You are completely wrong. If you don't have a resident parking sticker they can and will. I found that out this morning. Got the knock. Got the ticket and the ride to stock island detention center. Fine was $475.00 and the tow bill was $695.00.

I am sorry but what you are doing is not camping . It is called criminal trespassing in Monroe county and is against the law. It is a great way to end up a guest at the Monroe county detention center and your vehicle at the impound lot on Stock Island. It is illegal to camp anyplace in Monroe County outside a designated campground.
