Stealth Camp at a Castle with beautiful water gardens!

This was a creepy camp, my dog Fendy was acting strange all night.
I was scared that I would get caught there by the land owners!
This castle ruins is said to be haunted and this is the reason why it wasn't fully demolished. Demolition started in the 1960's but it was never completed as the workers claimed it was haunted!!!
So I decided to wild camp there...
Castle Carr also has some beautiful water gardens which I take a look at.
I trekked in at dusk 8:30pm and got out of there at dawn 5:30pm as I didn't want to get caught by the landowner who seems to run a pheasantry there.

Get a thermal imaging camera so you see if there's people about when you hear noises in woods plus if your camping at haunted castles again you may see a spirit.

I don't know about scary but it's beautiful! I suppose I have a romanticized view of the UK, and it's woodlands and moors, but wow! The water gardens were stunning as well. Geese 'honk' but while beautiful, they can be downright mean! Thank you again for the views!

Very intreresting again Gary, I often wonder when you.are in the middle of nowhere if you’ve left your destination with anyone? God forbid you have an accident with only poor little fendi there to help? Wouldn’t wish that on anyone, but some of the spooky sites you camp, leaves everyone wanting more👌 Keep up the great work buddy, we love those edgy vids, especially. When. Nice vid mate. I considered doing a Castle Carr wild camp about 4 years ago. Done a recce one evening, and decided against it as the place gave me the creeps. It had a really weird atmosphere, and I don't believe in Ghosts😂 Braver than me mate. Great vid though. Keep up the good work 👍

I use to have a pair of Peacocks . They were the best watchdogs , no one could get near my place without me knowing . The water gardens are amazing ! So glad you have the drone

This is a crazy town, so many hidden gems. Have you ever covered the gas works on Charles town rd, just behind Sainsbury’s? Lots of hidden history’s and amassing architecture. I’m not sure if there are any safe places to camp down there and might be a bit risky making a cuppa , there are bits that are hard to get to , with your knowledge and done skills I’m sure would be beneficial.. I never knew this water garden existed, nor the haunted castle , I’m gonna have to investigate this myself .. and personally thank the spirits that scared of the demolition men.

It's places like this castle that we don't have here in the USA. People here will see a building that's 80 years old, and that is considered an extremely old property. There are some structures that go back to the 1700s, but they are very few and very far between. I'm born and raised in New York, but I'm first generation. My family is originally from Dumbarton Scotland, so we know what really old truly is. But are people born here that have never left here, have never seen a place like that castle, and most likely never will and that must really suck. That is incredible that you can, not only visit that place, you're spending the night there! I find that fascinating. I really need to visit the UK soon. Love the videos. And love your dog! She's the best! Cheers my friend.

I stumbled on Castle Carr myself while exploring that area about 5 years ago, i knew i was off the footpath but my curiosity kept me walking closer and i have to say it is one of the most strangest feeling places i have ever visited, i never saw anyone within miles around and the whole place had an eerie feel to it as if you are being watched

You go on some great hikes. So much interesting history comes with your camping trips. I live on Vancouver Island, its a rain forest and has amazing beaches (one famous for surfing) no haunted camps here though... I don't think... Love your videos! Love your dog too!

I loved this video, so love your relaxed style, and how seemingly small things, like the masonry, get you excited just like me. My grandad was a Yorkshireman so I love listening to your accent. The gardens were gorgeous and well worth a look. I loved how atmospheric your footage was when you woke up and showed us the ruins. The spookiness was enhanced by how the light shone through your red tent and made you and Fendyl look so devilish😈👍

I live right at the foot of rivington pike literally 15 mins walk to the castle, there's so many creepy stories at that castle and the pigeon tower and chinese gardens, it's a beautiful place

Great video 👍 This was one of my explores in 2022. Enjoyed the ruin and stonework. The route in was tough. I didn’t get to see the water features after being intercepted by a United Utilities ranger. The gate houses look superb.

Morning Gaz. Stumbled on your channel about half 4 this morning good stuff m8. Ife love to do a bit of this out door stuff but unfortunately I live in South London I would need to get a long way out to avoid chavs and other types That's a beautiful spot right there it's quite sad that because the auction only got to 9 grand they destroyed it. Wtf We don't have many spots like this down here that I know of. If your camping in woods or forests then get some primer intruder alarms. They use shotgun primers, easily available with no license. Set them up with fishing wire. You need 3 sets, one behind, left and right. That way if anything comes near to where you camping/sleep they will get a massive shock and you will know someone or something is approaching.
