Steamed Chinese Herbal Chicken (Wrapped in Paper)
A simple, nourishing and flavourful dish....
By wrapping it throughout the cooking process, this method infused the aromatic flavour from Chinese traditional herbs into the chicken meat and at the same time, it keeps the chicken meat texture moist and tender.
I do not use aluminum foil to wrap as in many studies found that the food cooked in aluminum foil can be harmful to the health.
Here's the ingredients:
2pcs Chicken Thigh
7pcs Dong Gui
5pcs Red Dates
30ml water
2tbsp wolfberries
10g Yuzu
1tbsp Soy Sauce
1tbsp Sesame Oil
1tbsp Oyster Sauce
1tbsp Shao Xing Wine (2x)
