Steamed Glutinous Rice with Chicken (Lo Mai Kai) is a very popular and delicious snack/dim sum in Singapore. I remember during my childhood days, I love to eat this Lo Mai Kai. I usually eat two in a go because it usually comes in a small aluminium plate. During those days, the Lo Mai Kai is just filled with chickens only. Nowadays the Lo Mai Kai is filled with other ingredients like mushroom, chinese sausages etc. I like the original because the marinate of the chicken is so tasty that you dont need to add other ingredients. I hope you all like this simple and easy delicious LO MAI KAI.
Ingredients:
2 pieces boneless chicken thigh
Marinate
1 ½ tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon light soya sauce
1 tablespoon dark soya sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
¾ tablespoon corn starch
¼ teaspoon pepper
A thumbsize ginger (ginger juice only)
1 cup (190g) glutinous rice (soak overnite)
¾ cup (150ml) chicken stock
2 teaspoon dark soya sauce
1 teaspoon light soya sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Pepper

Your recipe is by far the simplest. Oth 2:57 ers...you need to fry the rice, fry the ingredients first. "Leceh". I had thought those steps weren't necessary. Thank u for sharing. All the best to your channel! 2:53
