Hi Susan, unfortunately Steelcase have not supplied us with a video for the seat removal for the Qivi. Hopefully in the future this might be provided and if it does it will be uploaded to our KZfaq channel.

I too am looking for one. Steelcase seems to be terrible at offering most of their replacement parts to end-users.

Great. Now that I know how to replace the seat, how to I get a new seat to use in the replacement?

@@huntsofficefurniture I have searched the internet and the mfg's site. Nobody is selling seats. The chair was second hand. I bought some spring wire and cut it to length and inserted it where the broken wires were and that seems to be an acceptable solution. But the new springs do not have the hooks of the old ones so just not sure how it will work out long term. It is an odd design and not reliable. We have two chairs and both are breaking springs. The new Think does not have spring wires in the seat so clearly it is an issue.

@@L-36 I am having the same issue, several broken springs under my Think Chair seat. Chair is from 2010. Could you elaborate on how you fixed it?

No matter how hard I push the stopper doesn't move enough, awful time pushing it up when it's completely flush with the metal seat guard. What a truly terrible design. And forget about it if you have large hands.
