Ben is legit insanely talented. Thanks for the entertaining casting, Steel & Ziz! Reminds me of a classic sports casting duo with Steel doing play-by-play and Ziz chiming in for analysis.

ben has years of EXP playing world first progress. don't forget he was one of the best wow players we have ever seen. Prolly the best Tank. But that question is hard to answer. So glad we can enjoy him in PoE.

talented yes.. he deserves it. but winning all the time is a sad reality of these events becoming more boring each time.. atleast GGG events guarantees you micro transaction prizes.. i have gotten nothing from these last 3 gautlets with my level 80+ characters

Ben is literally Wilt Chamberlin scoring 100 points. In the grand scheme of gaming, PoE is still young - and I hope the game has life for all my years. I’ve been playing 10 years and still couldn’t even scratch the level of these guys in the top tier. I hope that when others that want to be competitive watch him - they are motivated at the possibility rather than defeated by the gap. The way he stays calm and collected with zero life flasks is beautiful. He knows every single possible outcome and plays the game at the peak of its limits - leaving us at the edges of our seats for every single fight. The first 3 competitive players that I loved watching were Waggle, Goratha, and imexile. They are always my home - but Ben has been so incredible to watch over the years. All 4 of them: humble and hard working. I Fucking love this game 😂

This was by far my favorite gauntlet so far! Steel and Ziz were an amazing cast duo, combining serious gauntlet and entertainment. The oasis in (white) maps was a great change! So much incredible gear! And lastly we saw so many cool builds! Vd Seething, Bama Bombarding, Icenova of Balls, Bone zoners, Chieftain Bombers - so good!

I was talking to my friend, and besides the sheer ability it takes to clutch out these fights under deadly circumstances, the thing that is most impressive to me is the incredible amount of knowledge that he has. To even be able to know what type of defenses to specialize in for each of these fights and progressing the endgame, to know the limits and weaknesses of your character so well, knowing the damage types of every single ability he's up against... absolute god gamer. His knowledge alone ends up literally shaping the Gauntlet meta and helping so many other players progress further than they even thought possible. And then somehow on top of it all, he drops a Defiance of Destiny... what a blast to watch it all unfold.

Many of the other racers share the same game knowledge as him. What separates him from the rest is pure mechanical ability and farming efficiency.

Knowledge between base game and gauntlet isnt the same. The reason exile isn't on Bens level has nothing to do with mechanical ability or farming efficiency, more to do with him lacking the awareness Ben has @@finneas9894

Next gauntlet do Ruthless with buffed loot drops, having one movement skill on cooldown and limited crafting changes things. Zizarans hate for Ruthless is what hold gauntlet back, ben wouldn't be on top if he was limited in crafting and movement skills.

@@iFoss Do you even race competitively? The abuse of leap slam and the knowledge of crafting is what separates good players from the best players. Also watch the boss fights, spamming movement skills and pots is the only thing keeping ben alive. Ruthless mode addresses every abuse and levels the playing field. All ziz needs to do is buff the mods a bit and make drops more like regular, we wouldn't need 4 added projectiles in ruthless. I would have thought people would realize this on their own by now.

Crafting is a vital part of the game. Ms skills are a vital part of the game. The gauntlet mod "monsters take 80% reduced damage" effectively raises the cap by 80% since the "cap" is simply an integer overflow that you are no longer hitting -toad

To be honest, Gauntlet should have addition restriction of only certain skills can be used. Meta skill is way too easy since most of the stats you need are defensive layer as meta skill always and already have the damage itself.

Please have zizaran make it so uber bosses take 50% reduced poison damage then for the next race. This way, the poison damage cant be used to mitigate the less damage taken mod.

@@zandersnc as explained by ziz and steel, if your poison damage gets so high it actually can mitigate the less dmg taken mod because you'd get to dot cap anyways, but IMO it still matters a LOT because you probably can't ramp to dot cap as easily in gauntlet especially because of said less dmg taken mod, that a lot of times (especially during that feared fight due to ben's boots) you are going to be playing like it isn't dot capped. However there are cases where you can like in exarch fight there ( then again, it might not even be dot capped and more towards poison vd with that boots deals so much dmg to stationary targets anyways lol)
