I hadn't planned on making another defan video this soon, but it happened xD
This song fits them so much and I just love vidding them, so I really hope you won't mind that I uploaded two defan videos in 4 days ^^''
The next three weeks are gonna be really busy for me, but I hope I'll manage to make a few videos anyway :))
Anyway, let me know what you think of this video!
I mostly followed the lyrics, but also focused a lot on the last few episodes.
I loved them, because we finally got to see damon acting as a true big brother and that gave me so many feels.
And making this video made me realise that Bonnie's "the fire will take you out" at the end of season one actually came true... and that made me so emotional.
I'm gonna go cry over defan and stefan's death some more q___q
On a side note, today I reached 1.9k subs! Thank you SO much! I can't believe I'm less than 100 subs away from 2k o___o I'm gonna have to think about what to do to celebrate!

Back in season 3 when it was all about which brother Elena was gonna choose, my hope was that the Damon and Stefan would decide to choose each other and leave Elena behind because ultimately even though they had other loved ones, their relationship was the most important of all and in the end that's what we got. Great video!

totally agree with you! More than Delena or Stelena, I've always been keen on Damon and Stefan, their relationship as brothers was the dearest thing to me in the show and the finale was just so beautiful.

Pallavi Vyas Damon loves Stefan too. He is the one who brought up Stefan, protected him from their father. Always saving him. He blowed up the grill in S5 to bring Stefan back literally dying. He was going to sacrifice himself. How can you say Damon doesnt love Stefan?

Luvlaki he doesen’t love him as much at all. Stefan sacrificed himself for damon and damon just kept on moving in on his girl. Stefan was drowning over and over again while damon was with elena. He’s a piece of shit

Robin Vigilante What does Damon loving Elena have to do with him not loving Stefan? He does love Stefan very much. Stefan sacrificed himself for Damon because he wanted to see his brother happy because he never had a happy life. Damon sacrificed himself in order to help bring up Stefan and protected him from their fathers abuse. Stefan didn’t drown he himself moved on and found love in Caroline wth your talking about? Katherine chose Stefan and Elena chose Damon. Damon died for Stefan twice on this show and saved him numerous times you cant fucking sit there and tell me that Damon doesn’t love Stefan just because Stefan died for him?

what always gets me is that nothing in his life is more important than stefan, and more, everything means more to him so long as he has stefan. despite everything, there’s very little damon wouldn’t do for stefan, and the same vice verse.

Honestly, as much as I love all the other aspects of the show, the bond between Stefan and Damon is what truly makes it my favorite show of all time. It reminds me so much of the bond my brother and I have. I know I would sacrifice myself for him, and he would do the same for me. Damon’s “I love you little brother” and Stefan’s “I love you too” will always get me 😭 Thank you for making such a great video

Honestly Paul and Ian had amazing chemistry and that's rare! but it's so unfortunate that this show only became about romance and about two brothers fighting over the same girl. In my opinion these two became a lot closer after Elenas disappearance. They loved each other and sacrificed their lives for each other. Defan is the only reason I kept up (to some extent) with the show! Beautiful video, you definitely highlighted their best moments!

Mia Winchester Exactly! In the first seasons they portrait Damon as a bad brother and the brothers had no brotherly relationship whatsoever but in the later seasons (practically 7 and 8) these two grew closer to each other and were sacrificing themselves for each other! As Stefan himself said it, we saw the old damon. The damon that was willing to do everything for his family❤ Elena going away was kinda good for the show in that sense. The writers seem to understand that later on.

The first time Stefan when into the fire to save his brother was the season one finale and they both made it out the second time was the series finale and only one made it out AND THIS VIDEO JUST GOT ME IN MY FEELS AGAIN I CAN'T STEFAN SHOULD HAVE LIVED

I cried with this video. It’s heart warming and beautiful. I was very happy with the ending of the series. To see them come together at last and in peace. It’s revolting to see all the hate that is avalanche toward Damon and Stephan. For me TVD was about the Salvatore brothers, love, forgiveness and redemption. Why can’t the fans not see that?Why make a show (that is obviously dear ours hearts) into such a malicious war between the fans. All the characters forgave each other, why can we do the same?
