It sounds like a midi composition, so he would have used a program that tries to emulate instruments to write the music.

supermacko you are correct. i was 16 when i wrote this. at that time i was using guitar pro 5. guitar pro 5 had a built in realistic sound engine. it was ok but it was terrible for the drums so i turned it off for that. this file is from 2007.
