I disagree with you Stefan was selfish. At first they made us see that Damon was the selfish brother but he was the first one who knew that katherine has a dopple ganger and she compelled her to forget cause he knew how much it will affect Elena's life but Stefan he wanted Elena so badly that he stalked her or something and thats why Elena's love ones died. Stefan couldnt choose Elena over Matt at s4 because Elena wanted him to choose Matt and Stefan Knew that if he choose Elena she will hate him but Damon wouldnt hesitate even if she hates him. Also at 1st Stefan was the 1st killer between the 2 of them. Damon stayed away from Stefan because Lexi said he'll be better off without him... So who's selfish

People don’t understand the chemistry Stefan and elena had. Delena is overrated, Stefan and elena where the perfect couple Stefan loved her. Loved her like nothing in the world existed. They did Stefan dirty man. He never got the life he wanted. He killed himself just so elena and Damon could have the life they wanted together. Even though it pained him to see them together, Stephan was a brother, a good one in deed. Damon killed Lexi and everyone Stefan loved just for approval for the “mystic falls committee” only for Caroline’s mom to die, and her death was all for nothing. Stefan still stood by his brothers side through out everything. He was a good person RIP Stefan Salvatore he lived a good life.🪦

Sometimes chemistry isn't enough to keep someone around. At the end of the day that's just how it is. Hell I had someone like this, but just like her, he sabatoged the relationship. Elena did the same thing. People are always gonna want more until they find the right person or the right thing that makes them happy. You may hate her and quite frankly the way they portray her in the show than how she is in the book kinda Bugs me, but you gotta understand maybe she wasn't happy. You cant be mad at someone who find things to make them happy. She could have gone andifferent way about the situation though, so I understand the anger. But, people will always want more I told they find something that is just enough.
