On our way to Bishop we made a quick stop to check out Sender One’s climbing gym in Los Angeles, where I attempted to climb every boulder in the gym in less than one hour. If you want to see me in pain, you landed in the right spot!
Stay tuned for the upcoming videos from my American trip!

This has to be like one of the most impressive things I have ever seen... there are no words to describe watching a pro just like blaze through V9s after 50+ boulders already done with almost no rest. The amount of power endurance in his fingers seems like stuff of legend.

Wow... 100 boulders in 1 hour... these are 1.66 boulders per minute, or 0.027 boulder per second - that means *2.7e-11 boulders per nanosecond* . Given that speed climbers operate at 0.2 boulders per second at their peak (I am talking a good breakfast here), we can conclude that Stefano is faster than any goat or lemur who was not intelligent enough to consider climbing a sport and not survival tool. Hats off! Shirts off!!

16:54 - That's some nice instinct, going for the low toe-hook to stop any cutloose, and a semi-high heel-hook to get lift. Very impressive! And the toe-hook turned out to be extremely important since the heel-hook slipped.

Your second paragraph is a great idea. I would love to have at top climber do more of this kind of meta-content, talking about climbing in a broader sense. There are enough videos about people discussing their foot placement on the third move of the second crux. But not enough on how they actually got inspired to check out a specific crag.

I’d love to see a KZfaq video wherein you get beginner-intermediate climbers to climb at their limit (say up to 7a/5.11d ish) and then see you climb those same routes. That’d be interesting to see technique differences between the two and maybe help improve their skills! Thoughts? P.S. love watching your videos. Big fan.

love it. some ideas: get on a guest pro, who can do the most boulders in 1hr. Or who can do the most V grades in 1hr. Also, most moves on lead before touching the floor (unclip on the downclimb and back up). And, if a gym will let you, traverse the whole gym without touching the floor (saw robbie philips do this in Ratho, they took up a porta ledge) xD

the feat of endurance this takes is amazing! i consider myself to be considerably in shape, but i don't cold a candle to this. it would be a dream come true if i ever get to this point. I’ve always wondered, though, how far can one advance at climbing without growing up doing it? i really believe to be at certain levels of climbing (think Adam Ondra) your body has to grow and mold around the rock, in-a-sense. i think after probably 30, the v17’s and probably even the 16’s are most likely out of the question. i could be completely wrong and hope that i am, but when i think about it logically about the limits of my own progression, i feel this is a key question.
