Anyone saying you look odd without makeup and black hair is just wrong lol. I think the reason people feel this way is because of eyebrow contrast, but no one says anything when eyebrows are dark and hair is bleach blonde. You look great without the makeup, honestly the lighter brows and black hair really brings out your eyes and different contact colors, giving that more “alien” look.

Going black was the best decision I ever made for my hair. It would not grow because of the bleach and damage I caused to it. Now it’s halfway down my back and fuller. I’m obsessed!

Hi, I'm a natural blonde - basically my hair was white blonde when i was eight and as I got older it darkened so I got highlights and toner to lighten it but it wouldn't let my hair grow and I had to keep going back to hairdressers to get roots redone every 3 months. It was a hassle. So I went from level 10 blonde to level 4 medium brown in 2020 then wanted to go darker in 2021. But now I want to go black as it looks so beautiful. Since being brunette, my hair has grown longer and gotten shiner aswell. My hair is past my waist now.

Other hairstylists I watch tend to shit on dark/brown/black hair (brad mondp ily but im looking at you) and as someone with natural brown, who has done black in many different ways, I'm super happy to see this video from you. I also have to disagree with the commenters from your last video, I think black looks AMAZING on your with/without makeup.

I actually had jet black hair for about 4 years then last year you inspired me to get a pink bob, it was A LOT of work to achieve but I'm still loving it and rocking it! So I won't be going back to black anytime soon, but I do still love the colour ☺

I’m dyeing my hair jet black right now after years of bright pink, blue, purple etc. your video encouraged me to do it, I’m going through a lot right now and I needed to get back to the look that works the best for me because I don’t have the energy to play around with colors anymore, and I just don’t feel like it. Black makes me feel powerful and allows me to hide my insecurities. I just had a miscarriage and because of that I’m dealing with a horrible depression, I’m also dealing with recovering from eating disorders and severe body dysmorphia and black is just that color that suits me right now, not because I’m miserable but because I need to feel more confident. Totally agree with black hair. It's beautiful and can make so many fun, professional, majestic, and mysterious styles to fit any event or mood. I love playing with different hair colors, but I always end up back at black. I even went with my natural medium brown and it looks ok, but black is always better.

Been coloring it black for around 20 years or so. Sure there’s been some burgundy, there’s been some bleach, there’s been blonde and “funky colors”, there’s been brown (caramel with highlights) there’s even been blonde all over and black on the sides (zebra hair as I called it) but none lasted more than a month at most except the “zebra hair” but that was because I was new mom and didn’t have time to do anything really. I always come back to black. My kids wouldn’t even recognize me without black hair and they’re 11 and 9 lol.

I think your hair looks amazing 😍 If it's something that concerns you then I recommend tinting your eyebrows to match your hair if you dye it black and your natural color is way lighter or if you don't want to wear makeup. I have brown/blonde eyebrows and lashes so when I dyed my hair jet black it looks like I barely have brows and lashes. It kinda bothered me when I was bareface because I hate doing my makeup out of necessity. I think tinting the brows helps if you are looking for a low maintenance routine or if you don't wear makeup often. I only wear gel on my brows so for me it is the best decision I ever made when dyeing my hair jet black.

I was so confused the first seconds lol My hair is red since march, and I love it. It stains everything pink and I can't paint my nails bright colors, but still makes me feel fierce, sexy and beautiful, so this video isn't for me, but I still want to see what Stella comes up with. ❤️
