My secret weapon to grow aquarium plants emersed is to add some springtails. This little guys make the emersed plant setup bioactive. Because they naturally feed on stuff like algae mould and fungus.

One thing I would love to see you do is a low tech set up. One that takes as much effort and time to set up as a high tech set up, but with no CO2 etc for those of us who don't use it so we can see how achievable it is!

It's a beautiful scape! I liked the before and the remake equally. They both remind me of high elevation mountain landscapes which always have very low vegetation (like Monte Carlo looks!). Seeing how you make the stream with the cosmetic sand was very helpful as was the part about the little detail rocks (now I want to go break some rocks!). Thanks!

Dude that is amazing how close you made it look from memory! They both rule! But goes to show how much thought you put into it the first time to almost replicate. You make it look so easy! I would be happy just to have that hardscape with 0 plants. I love !!!!!! Plant’s! Great work!

I like the soil storage video idea! I really enjoyed this video. I really liked the original layout and it was even better when you redid it! I love how you drew the line down the center of the tank and showed us how to zig-zag the rock placement to achieve this look. I love the perspective and how you don't see the corners in the back of the tank... I had one of those moments.. an epiphany and it all made sense 😂😁 most people probably understood this concept but to a beginner trying to figure all this out you did a great job explaining it! This was a great tutorial and I actually "get it " now where I can attempt to achieve this myself.. I have me some Monte Carlo coming in and I can't wait to try this lazy dry start!.. I liked your cologne idea... throw some tropica soil and a touch of aquarium water and you can use it for aftershave 😂😂 Very informative and thank you so much for sharing!👍🐟🌱🌿♥️

Love the way you mix different sizes of pebbles / sand/ rocks. If I would change something is the fact that both sides ( left and right) have the same height, I feel it could be far more interesting if one of the "peaks" would be elevated. Also there is no shade, maybe throw in a tree that would generate some? Anyways, great job, thanks for the video!
