It's just an extremely overpriced and very VERY noisy eheim classic. You don't need a stainless steel canister, a filter will last you as long as the pump and even a replacement pump is way more expensive than a new eheim classic.

We understand you’re an influencer and sponsored but before you throw in garbage the hel-x 13, I recommend do some research about how bacteria and biofilm works. More porous looks good on paper but in reality is water bypass and much lower water flow. You need micro fine pad before that porous media and it clogs in a week. Oase uses that media for a reason, more oxygen, thicker biofilm and higher water flow. Yes, you can use it in canister filter.

There might be sources online backing up your point of view. At the same time there are sources backing up the opposite. If you find a good source that’s comparing both sides scientifically and is independent, feel free to share. Bottom line I can tell that it doesn’t matter which one you use. Both can result in a nice planted tank with appropriate maintenance routine.

Jurijs, I was wondering whether it would make sense to put something under the big rocks to protect the glass from scratches. What would you recommend?
@JurijsJutjajevs4 күн бұрын
It doesn’t matter if the bottom glass has scratches or not, it’s always covered with substrate. I never use protection.

Hello jurijs,very nice taste, it's other level of art. I always wondering what is the secret of penatifida, I tried many times with and always remains for a while then start melting.
@JurijsJutjajevs3 күн бұрын
In my experience Pinnatifida is an easy plant. It will grow different in different environments though. The only thing it doesn’t like imo is higher temperatures. So going at 27 Celsius and above in its submersed form has always caused a die off. TC version is best for attaching to hardscape. Emersed potted version can be melting when planted in soil. So if planting in soil is what you want, try converting pinnatifida submersed first before planting into soil

Alles keine "Iwagumifische". Da hätte es passendere Arten gegeben. Schade. Das ist für mich das Dark secret ;-)

hi, please help, how to prevent aquasoil back slop from sliding in Dutch aquascape?shall i put plastic sheets for example or no need for thats.
@JurijsJutjajevs8 күн бұрын
Don’t go crazy with slope in a durch style. 5cm in the front and 7.5 in the back on smaller aquariums or 10 cm in large tanks. Over time soil will move down, but you’ll replant your Dutch style from time to time anyway, this is good time to syphon the top layer of soil carefully and rebuild the slope
