You can use valve lapping compound and get the same effect the backng plate is separate of the drum

My brake drum brcame smooth and slippery only after a total of 10350 km.. but i took it to leath machine and they charged a total of ₹250 to make it rough again... Hope this time it will last longer... Please reply to me... My bike is tvs sport...

My scooter suzuki is new 5 days old. Rear brake is excellent but when bike is slow sometimes clinching sound comes wht to do i am worried sir

Due to any loose components the brake lining worn out unevenly and also poor quality of linings hence clinching/squeaky sound. Changing the required parts will eliminate the problem. Don't worry

We can. But we have to consider the remaining life of shoes, line and life of them also. There are some mechanical advantages are there by doing this. As the cars having same brakes but requires little more friction. We have to handle them carefully. Thank you

If it happens so. Then you need to replace the lining by making ring and fitting it into the brake contact lining. You can save money in purchasing new wheel. For this your machinist must be smart. Otherwise it will lead to other problems
