Great product. Easy to install and in my opinion they look so much better than the stock silver colored covers. The company claims the aerodynamic properties slightly exceed the original covers, These covers fit securely and do not rattle or make any noise when driven.

I actually like the look and I'm not even a big fan of black wheels. I took the aero covers off my Model 3 and bought the caps (lug and center). I don't plan to put any type of covers on because I know they eventually scratch the wheel underneath where the clips connect. No way around that.

What is the best way to remove Rimetrix cap & not breaking it in order to to replace the tire?

Hi Dave. Any update about how the Rimetrix covers are holding up for Greg? Any rattles or issues involving removing the center caps for tire rotation or repair? Thinking about picking up a set. Thanks

Great video! This might be a dumb question but are they directional? It looks as if the "fins" are ascending in one direction. It looks like the Left Rear seems to flow correctly and the whole right side is going against the direction of travel.

No they're flat on the sides so they can go on either side.

Hello, those wheel covers appear to be directional. That said, is there a differentiation between driver/passenger? If not, that seems skewed to me. What are your thoughts on this?

Dave, I’ve also removed the aero covers on my Model 3 and put on the lug nut covers and center trim piece. What I’m wondering about is what effect that has had on my range, if any. Have you done any range tests on a Model 3 or Y to determine the benefits in range provided by the aero wheel covers?

No but you can, pick a route that goes up and back and measure the energy used then change only the wheel covers and retest

Actually I did just that and finished yesterday. I did an up and back route on I-19 for 130 miles. I did it twice with the wheel covers on and twice with them off. Each configuration was reasonably consistent with the results being 242 Wh/mi with the wheel covers on and 250 with them off.
