Oh Misty you're face is lighting up! I have seen other videos of tours of this mansion. My favorite is his tip jar on his piano in the living room. I have told you before, i worked at a theatre where he performed for 1 - 2 weeks every year and got to spend a good bit of time with him. He was such a delight. And I loved the beginnings of his shows where the would go around and look at everyone's jewelry and furs and show off his. "You can touch it - you paid for it!" he would say. I always looked forward to his annual visit - even tough I was this rock n roll teenager. I got to touch his costumes. And at the end of his stay, he went around personally and made sure every single person from the usherettes to the custodians got a brand new 100 dollar bill and his personal thanks. That meant a lot to all of us. Not just the money but the compassion he showed towards us for doing our jobs. It was wonderful knowing him.

When I was around 4 or 5 years old I used to sit on the floor in front of the TV, and bang on a little zealaphon pretending to be playing with Liberace. I never missed a show. Loved your tour, thanks for bringing back the memory.

Each time we were shown something new I kept thinking Misty must be so excited. When you got to sit in the tub, WOW. I have to say my favorite visual was his pink costume. Something about it spoke to me. Great tour guide.

Liberace actually appeared on the soap opera "Another World" as himself with one of the characters, Felicia Gallant, played by actress Linda Dano.

cant beleive no one preserved it as soon as he passed away,and that it sat empty for years with no care,its amazing....im like you......who sat here, who touched this, who used that,who walked through this door ,on and on my brain goes lol

Words....let me see!: Incredible, stunning, spectacular, opulent, facinating, and bizarre. What a home he created. That staircase will stay in my mind! I love everything about it. The history, the shape, the design of the railings, wow! I too thought the ceiling opening looked like a piano. The Moroccan Room is superb. Those tiles 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍. It is wonderful that you were able to do this as we know how special it is to you! Thank you Misty!!!

Um.. amazeballs…. I think I could live in the Moroccan room alone as an apartment! ( i have a love of moroccan lamps) And that stair case!! The details are incredible, and the stories that house must keep! It makes me sad to think the majority of the next generation will have no clue about all the greats ! Thanks for taking us along!

I studied the piano from age 4 to 19. At one time I studied Liberace’s work, but sadly I don’t remember it now. My biggest regret is quitting my piano studies when I started college. I can still play, but not like I used to. I thoroughly enjoyed this video, Misty. Thank you so much for taking the time to film it for us. I never knew I needed to see Liberace’s home, until now. ❤

You did a beautiful job editing this video. What an amazing tour. Such amazing things! I went to his museum in Las Vegas back in 1973/74. We saw him live on stage and he was utterly fabulous! I was 12 and he was larger than lifer and seemed to fun and nice. You have good taste. So happy you got to have that experience.

There's too much to say about the Wow of his home. So I'll just say that I am sincerely and hugely happy you got to go and have joy and happiness during that lovely experience. We used to watch his show, back in the '50s. George his brother was there also, playing the violin. and the candles on the piano. Fans were starting to leave his show. So in order to get more fans and do his Vegas show. He came out with the Fancy costumes

Barbra Streisand actually went to high school at the same high school as Neil Diamond. They were in the same school choir, but didn't know each other then. After they became famous, they went on to do "You Don't Bring Me Flowers". Neil almost starred with her in "A Star Is Born" instead of Kris Kristofferson.

This was kind of like me when I went to Graceland. It's a little weird since everything is so dated, but really cool. I did like the cherubs dancing on the piano keys and the bathtub fixtures. I need those in my tub. LOL Happy you got to have that experience!

Private tour? The pink outfit reminds me of Seinfeld the "puffy shirt" episode. You could have got his hair out of the bath tub drain! 🤣😉 🎶🎹🎶 Let me say we have lived through some of the best music, the best entertainers in all history. I remember watching him when he had his own show back in the 60's. Liberace's fingers floated over the keys of the piano he could play with his eyes closed. It's quite easy to see how much he loved to entertain how he loved people in general what a incredible talent he was. The entertainers we grew up with from rock to Liberace to all the old musicals old country music just an array of talent will never be again. Great video Misty! Now off to Graceland? 😊 black velvet in that little boys smile.
