CLIP DESCRIPTION:
The Mob makes a dramatic comeback at the unveiling of Anderson's (Peter Gallagher) new development site.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
An aspiring dancer in Miami befriends an innovative flash-mob dance crew, and helps them to stage a footloose protest in order to save their neighborhood from a greedy developer. Emily (Kathryn McCormick) has always dreamt of becoming a professional dancer. Shortly after moving to Miami, she meets up with Sean (Ryan Guzman) -- the leader of a crew called The Mob that takes the art of dance straight to the streets. Meanwhile, as Emily falls for Sean, a powerful businessman begins plotting to demolish the crew's historic neighborhood to make way for a highly profitable development. Now, with their homes at stake and nothing to lose, Sean, Emily, and The Mob prepare to stage a show that will save their families from getting thrown into the streets.

You can tell who was born to dance and who learned how to dance. Two of them I recognize from actual dance competitions shows. I need to watch all of them again. I haven't seen these in years.

Kat actually the main male character did. Everyone else are actual dancers. I watched the making of this and he even said that he didn’t really know how to dance he had to learn. So yeah.

The difference is: he's not a professional dancer,he don't live from dance so he don't practice dance 24h a day as many of these professional dancers do and did for years. I understood what you trying to say but if we apply this logic for everything, people will stop doing things because they don't have "the gift ou because they didn't born to dance". Honestly, that is a totally bs, no gift or born to do something will save you from practice, struggles and hard work. Everything in life is PRACTICE. If you love something,go for it

Fun fact, Ryan Guzman was never a trained dancer and learned dance for this role. He did amazing, given he has no priority dance experience. He's pretty to look at, too.

This may really late, but I appreciate what Ryan Guzman brought to the table, he pursued Dance just enough to fit in as the leader. He was a really big step up from Rick Malambri(Luke) who had no prior dance knowledge and stuck out like a sour thumb in every dance number. The biggest one is that they had to turn the lights off for Lukes final duet with Natalie, because even tho Nat's actress could dance, Lukes(Rick) could not, and needed a stunt double. I dont think Ryan ever needed a stunt double in these movies.
