The 96 Bulls are the best defensive team in the history of the game. It's not even close. There's never ever been another team that had 3 players on the first team all defense and arguably could have had 4 if Gary Payton didn't exist.

Pippen shut people down like *nobody's* business; Michael was like a rash, a thief, a clamp AND a wall on defense--but we forget about *Randy Brown* !! In his entire career, I have only seen 3 people too quick for him (Stephon Marbury, Travis Best and Mugsy Bogues _would have been_ too quick)--and Steph would not have been the 4th! Jordan historically has not shot as well, especially in the finals, as people would like to admit. Curry and Durant have both put up 60%+ true shooting numbers time and time again, and Jordan was barely able to do that once, back in 91 i believe. Hell, curry is still doing it now. Also I can see the warriors trying box and one against them lol. It depends if the Series is played in 96 or now. The Game in 96 was WAY MORE AGGRESSIVE, AND the worriers couldn't handle the physicality of DRodman, or anyone back then. Series played in modern times. All the Bulls would be fouled out by the end of the game.

@@npcnate DRodman wasnt stronger then most of his opponents, he just didnt fear any physically confrontation, he actually enjoyed that part of the game and knew how to get under people's skins. He gave even shaq a hard time on the court. I dont think the players today could handle this type of physicality. (I love both eras)

Secondly, what I’m trying to say is Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman weren’t the first players to pick up and dribble a basketball, so by your logic, get rid of everything they learned from their predecessors and see what they do. As far as I know, nobody was shooting the ball like Steph, he’s the guy who normalized the 3-pointer and revolutionized the game

The real question is, "what era are they gonna play in?" because different eras have different rules and NBA teams or players Excell in different styles of basketball. Ik old heads or idiots will be mad but you have to think this through

I think Steph, klay, and Durant all struggle offensively. That would really hinder them. The bulls were seasoned vs tough defense and could generate offense under tough circumstances. The bulls would struggle when the warriors go on a 3pt shooting streak. But, mj gets to the line and helps to keep it close even when the warriors go ion a run here and there. Rodman vs Draymond would be wildly entertaining for the fans. Bulls in 6.

Teams have evolved and gotten better over time. The Warriors' hyper speed offense, passing, and 3 point shooting would have ran the Bulls off the court. The 2017 Warriors went 15-1 during the postseason which is insane.

The defense the sonics were playing against the bulls in that 96' series was highly kinetic and aggressive and a defense that would never be allowed to exist in Steph Curry's era. The fact that the bulls survived it and closed the series out in six games is a testament to how great that team was and I believe fully if a series between the bulls and the warriors were played back in Jordan's era that they would beat the warriors in 4 maybe five games.
