Is this the best place in India to see amazing artisans and handicrafts? In this video, we, as foreigners in India, visit several villages near Bhuj (Kutch, Gujarat) to observe the artisans at work. We see warping, weaving, block printing (ajrak), and bandhani tie-dye…and of course, we eat an incredible Gujarati thali lunch!

Parsi even after leaving gujarat comeback to Gujarat regularly…. Gujarat is our home no matter where we will go….. Gujarat made us Parsi from persian

Kuldeep did seem to be a great guy. He is definitely well educated and not an average Joe tourist guide one finds loitering around tourist spots. The best part was his people skill and trying to bring out the dying arts through people like you. 14 Jan is the festival of Makar Sankranti and literally a kite flying festival. The sky would be full of them. Just look out for fallen threads, they are very strong and can cut the skin. Had your Gujarat plans been 2 weeks later, you could have witnessed the Kite Festival there. Kite fliers from all over the world come here. International Kite Festival is held in the Sabarmati Waterfront in Ahmedabad, annually.

Im from the city nearby bhuj and it's name mandvi.. Mandvi is famous for wind farm (beach) and ship makid yard it only 60km far from bhuj

Laal Maans recipe is Rajasthani Cuisine, not found in Gujarat State.
