You’re right about encanto being bigger than coco. We don’t talk about Bruno surpassed frozen let it go making it one of the highest charting Disney song since 1995. The only Disney song that charted higher is a whole new world. It was number 1.

And WDTA just reached A Whole New World's record, making it Disney's 2nd biggest song, ever. It's biggest in 29 years! Since that one was even further back, 1993 I think. 😍 Lin is a genius!!!!

@@yourmomsays5295 Encanto definitely deserves it though and Lins lyrical genius deserves every accolade and praise. But the thing is, music is so much easier to listen to, stream and download than it was 25+ years ago, so literally our worlds population has almost tripled, the internet and social media has such a powerful presence, and it’s easier for music to chart and become so popular these days.

loved the diversity in this movie, really shows the diversity between latinos (white, black, native, mixed, etc.)

Surface pressure was my favorite when I first watched the movie. Everyone made we don’t talk about Bruno blow up so it grew on me. Surface pressure is still my favorite.
